Child Abuse and Neglect

The police department is committed to help ensure the heath and safety of the youth in our community.  The Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency is responsible under Pennsylvania Public Law to receive and investigate reports of child abuse and neglect, provide for the temporary care of children not able to remain with their own families and develop community-wide social service programs that promote family stability. The Agency endeavors to be responsive to the changing health and welfare needs of all families by encouraging the development of programs that reduce dependency and strengthen family life.

If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected please contact Bucks County Children and Youth at their toll free number (800) 932-0313. You can also click here which will direct you to their website for more information.
