Awards

The following awards were presented at the Board of Supervisors meeting on May 7, 2019:

This Commendation for Life Saving is presented to Ofc. Matthew Bankert, Ofc. Robert Ungurean and Ofc. Brendan Drakeley for the performance of life saving acts which resulted in the successful saving of a subject’s life on October 27, 2018. (Bankert & Drakeley not pictured)


This Commendation for Life Saving is presented to Ofc. Michael Ferry for the performance of life saving acts which resulted in the successful saving of a resident’s life on June 10, 2017.


This Commendation for Life Saving is presented to Ofc. Joshua Johnson (not pictured) and Ofc. Andrew Brown for the performance of life saving acts which resulted in the successful saving of a subject’s life on September 22, 2018.


This Distinguished Unit Citation is presented to Sgt. Jones (not pictured), Ofc. Bankert (not pictured), Det. Schirmer, Ofc. Hartranft and Ofc. Chonko for their outstanding accomplishment resulting from teamwork which led to the arrest and guilty plea of a Homicide by Vehicle while DUI subject from 4/7/2018.


This Distinguished Service Award is presented to Ofc. Michael Kaminski and Ofc. Andrew Brown for their continuous proactive approach towards traffic enforcement in the year 2018 which enhances the reputation and image of the Upper Southampton Township Police Department.


This Distinguished Service Award is presented to Ofc. Robert Ungurean for his continuous proactive approach towards traffic enforcement and DUI enforcement in the year 2018 which enhances the reputation and image of the Upper Southampton Township Police Department.


This Distinguished Service Award is presented to Ofc. Andrew Brown for exemplary narcotics interdiction in the year 2018 which enhances the reputation and image of the Upper Southampton Township Police Department.


Police Chaplain, Paul Randolph, was awarded the Master Level of Police Chaplains by the International Conference of Police Chaplains.  The requirement of this certificate are 350 CEUs of professional studies and 10 years or more as a police chaplain. Chaplain Paul also serves as Chaplain with the PA State Police and has most recently been appointed Chaplain witht he United States Secret Service. We are truly blessed to have him as USPD's Chaplain.
