On June 10, 2025, during the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting, Sergeant Jones, Detective Schirmer, and Officer Williamson were formally recognized for 25 years of dedicated and distinguished service to the community. In honor of this milestone, each officer was presented with a ceremonial police baton—a symbol of their commitment, integrity, and enduring legacy within the department. These batons serve not only as a tribute to their individual careers, but also as a reminder of the lasting impact they’ve had on the agency and the public they’ve sworn to protect.
