CHRISTIAN DIFLORIO IS IN CUSTODY

At 7:30 pm this evening, Bensalem Township Police received information that Miami-Dade Police Department had contact with Christian DiFlorio and took him into custody on the Bensalem Township warrant.  He will be remanded to prison in Florida and Bensalem Police will begin the extradition process to bring him back to Bucks County to face charges.

Bensalem Township Police received an anonymous tip that someone had posted a threatening video on Instagram directed towards the Holy Ghost Preparatory School.  Bensalem Police notified administrators of Holy Ghost Prep of the threat.  The school decided to impose a shelter-in-place order out of an abundance of caution.  A short-time later, the shelter-in-place order was lifted.  There were no class interruptions.

Bensalem Police quickly identified the subject as Christian DeFlorio, 30 years old who was a former student at Holy Ghost Prep.  Bensalem Police have also confirmed that Christian DeFlorio is currently in Miami, Florida and is not a direct threat to students at this time.

Bensalem Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Christian DeFlorio charging him with Terroristic Threats and related charges.  DeFlorio owns a white 2019 Alfa Romeo with red interior bearing PA registration KGE-2435.
