Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and Director William McVey are excited to announce the swearing-in of 2 new Bensalem Township Police Officers, William Beck and Christian Martinka.

Officer Beck spent almost 9 years in the Philadelphia Police Department. His most recent assignment was in the 15th District and he was also a member of the tactical unit.  He was  honorably discharged from the PA Army National Guard where he served from 2010-2018.

Officer Martinka spent almost 4 years with the Philadelphia Police Department and was also assigned to the 15th District.  Officer Martinka comes from a family of police officers including his father Thomas, Sr. who retired from the Philadelphia Police Department after 35 years of service and his older brother Thomas, Jr. who has been with the Bensalem Township Police Department since September 2019.

We would like to thank members of the civilian hiring board and members of Bensalem Township Council for their attendance at this ceremony.
