Patrol Division Commander, LT. ADAM KOLMAN
Lieutenant Adam Kolman has been a member of the Bensalem Police Department since 2005. He has served in numerous capacities, such as a patrol officer, field training officer, motor patrol officer, swat team member, detective, corporal, patrol sergeant, and most recently, as a detective sergeant in the criminal investigation division. Additionally, Lt. Kolman is a Pennsylvania State certified instructor and has instructed new recruits at the Temple University Police Academy for the past five years.
Lt. Kolman is a United States Air Force Reserve Veteran with Bachelor and Master Degrees in Business Administration from Holy Family University. He has received numerous departmental commendations for various acts, such as; outstanding service, meritorious contribution, unit citations, and the police officer of the year award. Lastly, he is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Staff and Command School, and the FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (LEEDA-Trilogy program). Lt. Kolman currently commands the patrol division with Lt. Donnelly.
