There have been some social media posts and rumors surrounding the incident that occurred at Target Neshaminy yesterday involving a child in a shopping cart.  Bensalem Police have thoroughly investigated this incident and spoken to all parties involved. 

Our investigation has definitively concluded that this was NOT a kidnapping or abduction attempt. 

The person involved in this incident has an intellectual disability.  He had no criminal intent when he removed the child from the cart.
