On Thursday, August 31, 2023, the Bensalem Township Police Special Investigations Unit responded to the Inn of the Dove for a prostitution investigation at room #114.  Upon arrival, they discovered that Dennis Ruoff had rented the room and had 2 active warrants.  When police knocked on the door, Ruoff and a female looked out of the window but never answered the door for police.  The room was secured to obtain a search warrant.  A short time later, Dennis Ruoff opened the door and surrendered to police.

When police went into the room, they discovered 2 adult females inside.  After interviewing the females, it was discovered that Dennis Ruoff was trafficking them by giving them drugs, setting up "dates" on a website, and forcing them to have sex with the "johns".  He told the females that they owed him for the drugs he provided. One of the females also stated that Dennis Ruoff sexually assaulted her.

Dennis Ruoff was transported to the Bensalem Township Police Department where he was charged with Human Trafficking, sexual assault, and related offenses.  He was arraigned by District Justice Michael Gallagher and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $1,000,000 bail.
