Bensalem Police announce the arrest of 27-year-old Donnie Reed of Philadelphia.  Reed was charged with Unlawful Contact with a Minor (6 Counts), Sexual Abuse of Children (3 Counts), Corruption of Minor (6 Counts) and other related offenses.  Reed was arraigned on these charges and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% of $1,000,000 bail.

On October 6, 2021, upon hearing of the allegations, Bensalem Township School District officials followed established protocols and Bensalem Police were notified that a Bensalem High School teaching assistant was sending inappropriate text messages and photographs to underage females.  The alleged actor, Donnie Reed, was employed as a special teaching assistant as well as a basketball coach and football coach. 

During the investigation, the juvenile victims stated that Reed started to make inappropriate comments and began sending Snapchat messages when they were 14 and 15 years old.  The messages were sexual in nature and included videos of Reed as he committed sexual acts.  Reed asked a juvenile to perform oral sex on him, repeatedly asked sexually explicit questions and asked for nude photographs from many of the victims. 

Based on the nature of this investigation, police believe there may be more potential victims of Donnie Reed.
