PORCH PIRATE PINCHED!!

Bensalem Police, with the assistance of the Philadelphia Police Department, have arrested and charged Hector Martinez AKA Ildelfonso Baez with the thefts of packages from the porches of three Bensalem residents.  Hector Martinez has committed numerous thefts in Bensalem and Philadelphia while he was driving a gray Mercedes Benz SUV.  Some of the thefts were captured on home surveillance video and helped to identify him as the actor in these crimes.

On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, Philadelphia Police observed Hector Martinez exiting his gray Mercedes SUV with an Amazon package.  When Martinez was approached, officers observed numerous packages inside of the SUV with Bensalem and Philadelphia addresses.  He was arrested and turned over to Bensalem Police.  A search warrant will be executed and any residents with names on the packages will be contacted by police for a follow-up investigation.  Philadelphia Police will also be filing charges on Hector Martinez.

Bensalem Police are encouraging victims of package thefts to report the theft to your local police department.  Your surveillance camera videos played a major role in the arrest of this suspect so, keep those videos coming.
