Newtown Township, Pa - On March 6, 2023, Newtown Township Police were dispatched to the Village at Newtown Shopping Center at approximately 7:30 pm for several reports of counterfeit currency being passed. The incidents occurred at MOD Pizza, Chipotle, Chopt, and Crumbl Cookies, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
