Newtown Township, Pa - On Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at approximately 3:00pm, Newtown Police responded to the Unit block of Swamp Road adjacent to Council Rock North High School for a report of a CRSD transportation bus, believed to be struck by a BB projectile causing damage to the bus side window. There were no reported injuries to any of the occupants of the school bus. Witnesses were located, scene was secured, and the juvenile individual was immediately apprehended and taken into police custody at the scene. A BB weapon believed to be involved was also recovered. The District Attorney’s office and the Newtown Police are investigating. There are no ongoing community safety concerns and due to the age of the alleged offender, no additional information will be released. School District officials are working in cooperation with the Newtown Police and aware of this incident.
