Newtown Township, Pa - Last night at the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors meeting, officers were recognized for their years of service milestones and performance awards. In addition to police department recognition, the officers receiving years of service recognition were also presented with awards from both Pennsylvania State Senator Steven J. Satarsiero and Pennsylvania State Representative Perry Warren. Congratulations to the officers and thank you for your service to the community.
Officer Shane Vandermark earned a Life Saving award for his efforts in reviving a juvenile who had drown while at a water park in South Carolina.
