Newtown Township, Pa - National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10 am - 2 pm! This year’s Take Back event will feature 48 public “Drive Up and Drop In” collection sites throughout the county. Simply pull up to the drop off location, place your unused, unneeded or expired medications into the box and drive away. Our site will be located at the Newtown Township Police Administration Building at 100 Municipal Drive Newtown, Pa 18940.
In addition to prescription medications, law enforcement officers will be collecting over-the-counter and pet medications, vitamins, vaping products and more. Plus, seven sites throughout the county will be collecting medications and sharps and distributing Narcan on April 30! This means that you will be able to drive up, drop off your unused, unneeded or expired medications and sharps and receive one unit of Narcan (while supplies last). See below for site locations and what’s accepted!
(Can't make it to Take Back Day? You can still safely dispose of your medications at one of the collection boxes located in Bucks County Police Departments. Find a box near you by clicking here.
