Police received more reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles. POLICE REMIND EVERYONE TO REMOVE VALUABLES AND LOCK YOUR CARS.

At approximately 8:30 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a Subaru sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Durham Road and West Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized as evidence. Charges are pending.

At approximately 11:30 pm police were dispatched to a Newtown Township residence for the report of a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, one juvenile male subject was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.

August 23, 2025

At approximately 11:55 pm police were dispatched to the area of Second Street Pike and Swamp Road in Wrightstown Township for a traffic accident involving multiple vehicles. As a result of the investigation, one of the operators is suspected of driving under the influence, and charges are pending blood evidence results.

While conducting the traffic accident investigation on Second Street Pike, officers heard a gunshot nearby. As a result of the investigation, one male subject was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Disorderly Conduct.

August 24, 2025

At approximately 3:30 pm police were dispatched to a Newtown Township residence for the report of a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, one male subject was arrested and charged with Simple Assault.

August 27, 2025

At approximately 10:40 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a GMC SUV operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Buck Road and Mill Pond Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

August 28, 2025

At approximately 1:45 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Cadillac sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Richboro Road and Mill Pond Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were discovered and seized as evidence. Charges are pending.
