Newtown Township, PA - On February 24, 2020 at approximately 3:30 PM the Newtown Township Police were dispatched to a traffic accident at the intersection of Durham Road and the Newtown Bypass, near the entrance to Tyler State Park.  Please be advised that the Newtown Bypass is closed from the Newtown Shopping Center (West Road) to Swamp Road.  We will provide an update when the road is opened.  Please use caution in the area and remain patient with the impact this will have on traffic of nearby roads.
