Vandalism to Historic Property: Subjects Identified



UPDATE October 2, 2020:  The juvenile individuals in this case have been identified. We would like to thank the public for the tips that were submitted. 

Newtown Township, PA - On Thursday, October 1, 2020, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Newtown Township Police responded to investigate vandalism to the Manor House within the Newtown Crossing development. The Manor House is an 18th century, pre-revolutionary war era, historic property, located near the intersection of York Street & Hidden Valley Lane. A nearby witness reported the sound of glass breaking at the property and upon investigating, the witness encountered two juvenile females who were smashing several windows on the building, causing significant damage. The witness was able to obtain some photos of the juvenile females and their bicycles before the juveniles fled the scene.
