On Wednesday, 04/20/22, New Britain Township Police hosted the Central Bucks Motor Carrier Enforcement Team detail, inspecting commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) along the US 202 Business corridor.  The detail produced the following results:

• 17 CMVs inspected
  
  • 5 CMVs inspected had NO violations
  • 12 CMVs inspected were found with violations
• 41 total violations discovered
• 5 CMVs placed OUT-OF-SERVICE for mechanical defects (majority brake violations)
• 1 CMV placed OUT-OF-SERVICE for violating a Federal Out-of-Service Order
• 1 CMV driver placed OUT-OF-SERVICE for driving without a valid driver's license and not having a valid log book
• 11 traffic citations issued
• 30 traffic warnings issued
