On Wednesday, 04/30/25, NBTPD hosted the Central Bucks Motor Carrier Safety Enforcement Team detail, inspecting commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) along the US 202 Business corridor, State Route 2038, and Upper State Rd (local restricted).  The detail produced the following results:

• 19 CMVs inspected
  • 6 CMVs inspected had NO violations
  • 13 CMVs inspected were found with violations
  • 57 total violations discovered, which included 15 OUT-OF-SERVICE violations
• 6 CMVs placed OUT-OF-SERVICE for mechanical defects and securement violations
  • 1 was a 160,000 lb. oversized load CMV
• 4 CMV drivers placed OUT-OF-SERVICE for driving without a valid license and/or a suspended license
• 2 CMVs were weighed = both overweight
• 1 CMV was measured = dimension violation
• 16 traffic citations issued
• 41 traffic warnings issued
