On Wednesday, 09/07/22, the New Britain Township Police Department hosted the Central Bucks Motor Carrier Enforcement Team detail, inspecting commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) along the US 202 Business corridor.  The detail produced the following results:

• 14 CMVs inspected
  • 3 CMVs inspected had NO violations
  • 11 CMVs inspected were found with violations
• 43 total violations discovered, which included 11 out-of-service violations & 1 overweight violation
• 5 CMVs placed OUT-OF-SERVICE for mechanical defects and securement violations
• 1 CMV driver placed OUT-OF-SERVICE for failure to have a valid CDL license
• 9 traffic citations issued
• 34 traffic warnings issued
