UPDATE: The trucking company has been identified and additional information was obtained which confirmed the trash compactor was not stolen, only picked up for repairs and will be returned.  This case will be closed as unfounded.

On October 21, 2021, at 1:30 pm, the pictured person driving the pictured vehicle removed a large trash compactor from the rear of the Giant Food Store located at 4275 County Line Road in Chalfont.  Giant loss prevention confirmed with their contracted waste management company that the trash compactor was not removed by them, nor one of their contracted trucks.  At this time, this incident is reported to be a theft.  If you can identify the truck or its company, or have knowledge of this incident, contact us at 215-822-1910 or Police@NBTPD.org and reference report number 2021-06-5369.
