The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Chalfont-New Britain Township Joint Sewage Authority will be performing a sewer facility installation on Barry Road in New Britain Township, Bucks County, beginning Monday, April 10.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Monday, April 10, through Monday, May 15, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday closure is scheduled on Barry Road between New Galena Road and Railroad Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Railroad Avenue, Sunset Avenue, Route 152 (Main Street), and New Galena Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

Chalfont-New Britain Township Joint Sewage Authority will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
