Youth Aid Panel

Doylestown Township participates in the Central Bucks Youth Aid which is a diversionary program where police departments work with first-time non-violent juvenile offenders as an alternative to the juvenile court system. The arresting agency, and the parents of the offender, and the offender must agree to participation in the program. The youth aid panels are staffed with community volunteers along with police officer which will serve as a liaison between the police department and the panel. Panels will hear cases individually and make recommendations and assign obligations such as; community service, letters of apology, drug and alcohol services etc.

If you are interested in becoming a Youth Aid Panel volunteer please contact Det. William Mokriski for more information.
