Here are some tips to keep your money safe during the holiday shopping rush:

- Banks and other financial agencies do not request you to go stores and purchase gift cards to make payments over the telephone. 

- If you don't know who is on the other end of the telephone, don't lend them money. 

- Don't provide remote access to your computer to strangers on the internet. 

- Beware of e-mail scams who appear to be legitimate business. Always check the link before clicking on it. 

- If there is a warrant for your arrest, we will come visit you in person. We do not take payment over the phone to clear a warrant.
