Edison Furlong Road to Close Saturday for Drainage Improvements in Doylestown Township.

Edison Furlong Road is scheduled to close between Route 611 (Easton Road) and Route 263 (York Road) in Doylestown Township, Bucks County, for drainage repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

Saturday, August 24, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM; and
Monday, August 26, and Tuesday, August 27 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

During the closure, Edison Furlong Road motorists will be directed to use Route 611 (Easton Road), Almshouse Road, and Route 263 (York Road). Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the construction area because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
