for the Month of April 2021

ARRESTS

DUI Arrest, April 3, 2021, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Thomas Lawrence Jarret, M/53 of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above charge following a traffic stop for expired inspection and emission. Jarret presented with glassy eyes and slow speech/motor skills. Field sobriety tests were administered and Jarret was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, April 3, 2021, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Kyra Elizabeth Scaliti, F/23 of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above offense following police officers observing Scaliti stumbling with unsteady gait and attempting to walk in the street. A Citation has been filed.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, April 6, 2021, W. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough – Paul Albert Stock, III, M/54, of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense following police dispatch for an intoxicated male. Stock became belligerent and aggressive as police attempted to assure he got home safely. A Citation has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest, April 10, 2021, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Liam Cooney, M/21 of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense following officers’ observation of Cooney urinating in public. A Citation has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest, April 10, 2021, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Terence Joseph Forman, M/49 of Pipersville, PA, was cited for the above offense following officers’ observation of Forman urinating in public. A Citation has been filed.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, April 11, 2021, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Jack Miller Rand, M/22 of Sellersville, PA, and Kevin George Reilly, III, M/22 of Perkasie, PA, were cited for the above offense following police officers’ observation of both males having difficulty standing; one falling backward to the ground. Citations have been filed.

Harassment Arrest, April 12, 2021, North Street, Doylestown Borough – Marisol Cooper, F/33 of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after police responded to a residence for domestic dispute.  A Citation has been filed.

Stalking (and other charges) Arrest, April 13, 2021, Pearl Drive, Doylestown Borough – Andrew Justin White, M/43 of Warminster, PA, turned himself in on an active Arrest Warrant. White admitted to being involved in two incidents at two residences on Pearl Drive, Doylestown Borough. On March 9, 2021, during the evening hours, White broke the rear window of a vehicle and placed nails in the tires of one resident and was found prowling the property and peering in the windows of a second residence. White is a former acquaintance of the residence where the vehicle was damaged. He admits to being on the other property in an attempt to identify which home the acquaintance lived in. White was arraigned, bail set at $75,000 unsecured with conditions.

Criminal Trespass Arrest, April 14, 2021, 700 E. Butler Avenue (Delaware Valley University), New Britain Borough – Freddie Whipple, M/23 of Trenton, NJ, was cited for the above offense after police responded for unwanted subject who had been previously given notice that he was not permitted on campus. A Citation has been filed.

Drug Violation Arrest, April 14, 2021, 625 N. Main Street (Main Street Inn), Doylestown Borough – Maria G. D’Angelo, F/40 of Upper Black Eddy, PA, was arrested for the above offense following police response for an unwanted person staying in a hotel room. Illicit drugs were found in the room and D’Angelo needed medical assistance. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Ordinance Violation, April 17, 2021, Creek Drive, Doylestown Borough – Benjamin Kaleb Ames, M/20 of Thorton, CO, and Pointe Pest Control of Bridgeport, PA, were cited for soliciting without a permit. Citations have been filed.

DUI and Drug Arrest, April 17, 2021, 440 Swamp Road (Lukoil Gas Station), Doylestown Borough – Scott William Deakin, M/29 of Dublin, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police responded for report of a reckless driver. Following failed field sobriety tests, Deakin was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. Illicit drugs were found on Deakin. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Underage Drinking Arrest, April 18, 2021, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Tucker William Chaikin, M/20 of Sellersville, PA, was cited for the above offense when police observed Chaikin exit a liquor establishment and stumble while walking. A Citation has been filed.

Burglary (and other charges) Arrest, April 19, 2021, W. Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Katherine Anne Aseltine, F/30 of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above charges following police dispatch to a burglary in progress. A witness saw a female climb an exterior staircase and enter the residence. Officers engaged in a foot pursuit through several residential and business properties. Aseltine was seen entering a parking lot in the rear of West State Street where she was instructed several times to stop before officers had to intercept her and take her into custody. Aseltine was arraigned by Judge Snow, remanded to Bucks County Prison and bail was set at 10% of $25,000.

Drug Violation Arrest, April 20, 2021, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Garrett Michael Vogel, M/19 of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above offense following officer’s investigation of suspicious vehicle. Vogel presented in a suspicious manner and admitted to illicit drugs being in the vehicle. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Drug Violation Arrest, April 20, 2021, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Joseph M. Bench, M/25 of Colingdale, PA, was arrested for the above offense following officer’s investigation of suspicious vehicle. Bench presented in a suspicious manner prompting officers to request search of vehicle to which Bench consented. Illegal substances were found. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, April 21, 2021, W. Ashland and S. Clinton Streets, Doylestown Borough – Francisco Thay Tambriz, M/34 of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense when police were dispatched for a well-being check of male falling from bicycle. Tambriz presented with a strong odor of alcohol and had trouble standing on his own. Tambriz was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical attention. A Citation has been issued.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest, April 21, 2021, North Street, Doylestown Borough – Eric Eugene Moyer, M/42 of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after causing a disturbance with a moving truck and making threats. A Citation has been issued.

Ordinance Violation, April 21, 2021, North Street, Doylestown Borough – Eric Eugene Moyer, M/42 of Doylestown, PA, was cited for noise complaint after ignoring previous requests to lower the volume. A Citation has been filed.

DUI Arrest, April 23, 2021, E. Oakland Avenue and Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Rita a. Englebreth, F/51 of Doylestown PA, was arrested for the above offense following a traffic stop for traveling the wrong way on a one way street. Englebreth presented with a strong odor of alcohol, slurred speech and bloodshot, glassy eyes. Upon failure of field sobriety tests, Englebreth was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest, April 24, 2021, 19 N. Main Street (Chambers), Doylestown Borough – Shawn Gerald Williams, M/22 of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after officers observed Williams urinating in public.

Liquor Law Violation Arrest, April 24, 2021, N. Main Street and Sunset Avenue, Chalfont Borough – Christopher Digrazia, M/19 of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense following a traffic stop for tinted registration plate where Digrazia admitted to having a case of beer in the vehicle and being underage. A Citation was filed.

Ordinance Violation Arrest, April 26, 2021, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Claudio Hernandez, M/36 of Philadelphia, PA, was cited for possession of small amount of marijuana following a well being check at the Main Street Inn.  Hernandez approached officers while holding a marijuana cigarette. A Citation has been filed.

Public Drunkenness, April 27, 2021, State and West Streets, Doylestown Borough – Matthew William Smith M/32 of Doylestown, PA was cited for the above offense after police observed Smith staggering and fall to the ground. Smith was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical attention. A Citation has been filed.

Felony Firearms Violation, Terroristic Threat (and other charges) Arrest, April 27, 2021, 200 block Hickory Drive, New Britain Borough – Ronald W. Page, Jr., M/43 of New Britain Borough, PA, was arrested for the above offenses after police responded to reports of a neighbor firing a weapon at a residence. Page was seen pulling up in front of the residence, pointing something at the home and shooting at the kitchen window then leaving the area. Metal BB's were found on the ground under the shattered window. An arrest warrant was issued for Page and he was taken into custody on April 24, 2021. Page was arraigned, bail was set at $300,000 and remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

CRIME AND INCIDENTS

Retail Theft, April 2, 2021, 17 W. Court Street (Stans Vitamins), Doylestown Borough – Unknown male subject attempted to pay for $100 worth of vitamins with a credit card, when card was declined, subject abruptly left with the vitamins.

Retail Theft, April 11, 2021, 480 N. Main Street (Acme Markets), Doylestown Borough – Unknown male attempted to leave the store with a backpack full of seafood valued at $233. An employee was able to retrieve grab the backpack but suspect fled.

Retail Theft, April 16, 2021, 625 N. Main Street (Main Street Inn), Doylestown Borough – Customer reported known male stole $70 from his backpack in a hotel room they shared.

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle, April 19, 2021, tens block of E. Ashland, Doylestown Borough – Resident reported unknown person threw a rock through the rear window of vehicle.
