ARRESTS
Ordinance Violation, April 3, 2023, W. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – Lily Martin, F/19, Bristol, PA, was cited for the above offense after a traffic stop revealed marijuana in her possession. A Citation has been filed.
Ordinance Violation, April 5, 2023, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Joseph Clayton, M/20, Newark, DE; Marcellus Torrence, M/27, Newark, DE; Justin Newton, M/29, New Castle, DE; Isaiah Praylow, M/18, Smyrna, DE; and LCM, Inc. were charged with the above offense for soliciting without a permit. Citations have been filed.
Indecent Exposure, April 6, 2023, S. Main Street (CVS), Doylestown Borough – Billy Alexander, M/42, Philadelphia, PA, was charged with the above offense after police were told by a witness that they saw Alexander expose himself in the parking lot of CVS. Alexander was taken into custody, processed, and released. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Burglary/Criminal Trespass/Criminal Mischief and Other Charges, April 8, 2023, Garden Alley, Doylestown Borough – Nicholas Tyler Shubert, M/35, of Georgetown, MA, was arrested on the above charges after police were dispatched for a burglary in progress. The homeowner returned home to find fire extinguisher powder on the floors throughout the residence and ultimately found Shubert in the basement. Shubert was disoriented and had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person. Shubert was arraigned, bail set $50,000 unsecured with conditions, and released. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Harassment/Disorderly Conduct, April 9, 2023, Park Avenue, Chalfont Borough – Timothy Ewer, M/63, Creamery, PA, was charged with the above offenses for sending threatening text messages to the victim. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Retail Theft/Receiving Stolen Property/Drug Violations, April 13, 2023, 495 East Street (7-11), Doylestown Borough – Mohamed Johnson, M/22, of Upper Darby, PA, was charged with the above offenses after police responded to the store for a theft complaint. Johnson attempted to pay for items with a credit card that would not authorize payment. He then left the store with $30 worth of merchandise. Johnson was taken into custody on N. Main Street and in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Disorderly Conduct, April 15, 2023, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Matthew Rubin, M/23, Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense for urinating in public. A Citation has been filed.
Criminal Trespass/Harassment, April 15, 2023, 70 Old Dublin Pike, Doylestown Borough - Daniel Park, M/60, of Aldie, VA, was charged with the above offenses following police dispatch for an unwanted subject entering a residence without the homeowner’s permission. Park is known to the homeowner and had been harassing them prior to this incident. Citations have been filed.
Harassment, April 16, 2023, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Noah Mokrynchuk, M/25, Warrington, PA, and Jordan Soliday, M/31, Harleysville, PA, were cited for the above offense after police witnessed the two individuals in an argument which then turned physical. Citations have been filed.
Drug Violations, April 16, 2023, 297 Keeley Avenue (Covered Bridge Park), New Britain Borough – Bridget Moira Witt, F/20, of Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense when police conducted a patrol check of the park after closing. Officers approached Witt, in her parked vehicle, and detected an odor of burnt marijuana. Witt admitted to having marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Public Drunkenness, April 20, 2023, tens block of 19 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Katie Allen, F/35, Chalfont, PA, was cited for the above offense after police were dispatched for an intoxicated female. Allen was found to be unsteady on her feet, presented with blood shot eyes and slurred speech. Allen was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation. A Citation has been filed.
DUI, April 22, 2023, North Street, Doylestown Borough – Henry Streeter, M/68, Bensalem, PA, was charged with the above offense after police were called for a suspicious vehicle. Police arrived to find Streeter asleep in his vehicle, which was half in the street/half in a driveway, and had substantial damage to the front end. Streeter presented with glassy and blood shot eyes, slurred speech, and a strong odor of alcohol. Streeter was unable to explain what caused the damage to the vehicle. After failed field sobriety tests, Streeter was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw, processed and released. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Ordinance Violation, April 24, 2023, Doyle Street, Doylestown Borough – Eugene Overcash, M/39, Warminster, PA, was cited for the above offense following a traffic stop. Officers found Overcash to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Citations have been filed.
Criminal Mischief/Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness, April 29, 2023, E. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Terence Murphy, M/30, Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offenses after police were dispatched for a burglary in progress. Officers arrived and found Murphy in the alley behind the residence. Murphy was uncooperative and had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person. Murphy was taken into custody and EMS was called to evaluate Murphy for cuts to his arm. Murphy was transported to Doylestown Hospital for treatment. Citations have been filed.
Disorderly Conduct, April 30, 2023, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Matthew Rosero, M/24, Warrington, PA, was cited for the above offense for urinating in public. A Citation has been filed.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
CRIME AND OTHER INCIDENTS
Theft of Package, April 1, 2023, South Clinton Street, Doylestown Borough – Resident reported their ring doorbell captured an unknown male stole a package that was left at the front door. Male is described as wearing a hat, green shirt, and camo-style shorts.
Fraud, April 19, 2023, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – On April 17, 2023, a female suspect entered Fulton Bank requesting a fraudulent withdrawal using a NJ Identification Card for a customer (victim) with a valid account. The withdrawal was processed, and the suspect left the bank with $1,275 cash. The same suspect made a withdrawal at a Fulton Bank in Delaware last December.
Criminal Mischief to Business, April 20, 2023, W. State Street (Nat’s Pizza), Doylestown Borough – The business owner reported an unknown subject had spray painted graffiti on the side wall of the business.
Police Activity, April 22, 2023, Old Dublin Pike, Doylestown Borough - Police responded to Regency Woods Apartment complex today for the report of suspicious chemicals. As a precaution the building was evacuated. The Fire Marshall and Bucks County Hazmat Team responded and found the chemicals were safe and there were no safety concerns.
