for the Month of March 2021

ARRESTS

DUI Arrest, March 8, 2021, tens block of W. Butler Avenue, Chalfont Borough – John Hoffacker, M/41, of Perkasie, PA, was arrested for the above charge following a traffic stop for an illegal turn.  Hoffacker presented with slurred speech and failed field sobriety tests. Legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest, March 10, 2021, 339 S. Main Street (Wawa), Doylestown Borough – Andrew Joseph Wisniewski, M/23, of Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense after police observed him urinating in public. A citation has been filed.

DUI Arrest, March 13, 2021, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Theodore Sak, M/28, of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above charge following a traffic stop for erratic driving.  Sak presented with an odor of alcoholic beverage and his actions were slow with slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and failed. Sak was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Criminal Trespass and Loitering Arrest, March 15, 2021, 300 block North Street, Doylestown Borough – Two juvenile offenders were charged with the above offenses following report of possible burglary and attempt to gain access to a residence on February 19, 2021. Juvenile Written Allegations have been filed.

Controlled Substance Arrest, March 20, 2021, 485 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - Tristan Allen Cosner, M/19, of Doylestown, PA; Trystan Stiles Frick, M/20 of Pipersville, PA; and a juvenile  M/17 of Chalfont, PA, were arrested for the above offense following a traffic stop for a non-functioning brake light. Driver consented to search of vehicle upon Officer request at which time controlled substances were found. A Criminal Complaint and Juvenile Allegation has been filed.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, March 25, 2021, 355 North Street, Doylestown Borough – Samuel Ixtos, M/29, of Doylestown, PA was cited for the above offense when police were dispatched to Oak Garden Apartments for an intoxicated male roaming the buildings. Upon arrival, police observed Ixtos stumble and fall. Ixtos presented with slurred speech and barely able to keep his eyes opened. Ixtos was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical attention. A Citation has been filed.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, March 26, 2021, 355 North Street, Doylestown Borough – Samuel Anastasio, M/29, of Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense when police were dispatched to Oak Garden Apartments for an unconscious male on the stairs. Police observed Anastasio sleeping in the stairway with a bottle of alcohol next to him. When police woke Anastasio, he appeared to be confused and unresponsive. Anastasio was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical attention. A Citation has been filed.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

CRIME AND INCIDENTS

Theft, March 2, 2021, 100 block of E. Butler Avenue (Tommy Carr), Chalfont Borough – Unknown person(s) removed the catalytic converter of a Tommy Carr box truck parked in their parking lot.

Unauthorized Residential Entry, March 3, 2021, 300 block of North Main Street, Doylestown Borough – According to witness, unknown deer ran on the porch of her neighbor’s home and through the glass panel on the side of the front door. Unknown deer left the home through the same point of entry leaving behind property damage. There were no known injuries nor characteristics to identify the deer.

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle, March 8, 2021, 318 North Main Street (old Dairy Queen lot), Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) broke the back window of a Komatsu 51 dozer causing approximately $700 in damages.

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle, March 10, 2021, Pearl Drive, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) placed nails in two tires and broke the back window of a vehicle during the overnight hours.

Theft, March 20, 2021, 737 E. Butler Avenue (Newton House), New Britain Borough – Victim reports someone entered their rented room and took $1,000 cash from a purse.

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle, March 22, 2021, Printer’s Alley, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) slashed tires on two vehicles while parked in the Printer’s Alley lot.

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle, March 24, 2021, 400 North Main Street (Wendy’s), Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) shattered the driver passenger side window of parked vehicle.

Retail Theft, March 31, 2021, 137 S. Main Street (Nomad Supply Co), Doylestown Borough – Unknown female was observed taking a bathing suit off the hanger and concealing it under her shirt. Approximate value $80.
