ARRESTS
Theft, March 1, 2022, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Michael Ogiony, M/48, Furlong, PA, was charged with the above offense after police were notified that a male subject had pumped gas and then told the attendant to bill it to an account. The owner then discovered that there was no account and the person did not work for the company he claimed was to be billed for the purchase. The attendant had written down the license plate which police traced to Ogiony. The owner of the gas station made contact with Ogiony and gave him several chances to return and pay for the gas. A Criminal Complaint was filed.
Public Drunkenness, March 1, 2022, Verterans Lane, Doylestown Borough – Shane Ogletree, M/38, Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense after police responded to a report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave a business. Police arrived to find that Ogletree could not stand without losing his balance and had a strong odor of alcohol on his person. A Citation was issued.
DUI, March 3, 2022, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Kelly Greaney, F/55, Chalfont, PA, was arrested on the above charge after police stopped her vehicle when they witnessed her driving on a flat tire that was smoking. Greaney had difficulty locating her documents, slurred speech and trouble formulating a sentence. After failed field sobriety tests, Greaney was taken into custody and transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, March 4, 2022, E. Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Steven Salib, M/29, North Wales, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police approached him when they noticed his vehicle parked along the curb facing the wrong way on a one-way street. While speaking with Salib police noticed drug paraphernalia in plain sight and took Salib into custody. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
PFA Violation, March 5, 2022, Town Center, New Britain Borough – Armando Flores, M/26, Quakertown, was charged with the above offense after he approached the victim in a shopping center by pulling in next to the victim, yelling, and then proceeding to follow the victim for a short distance when they tried to leave the area. Flores was taken into custody, arraigned, bail set at 10% of $10,000, and remanded to Bucks County Prison. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Public Drunkenness, March 6, 2022, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Sarah Keyte, F/26, Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense when police noticed her slumped over on the sidewalk. Keyte was unable to stand up and proceeded to vomit several times. Central Bucks EMS was called to evaluate and transport Keyte to Doylestown Hospital. A Citation was filed.
Sex Offenses, March 8, 2022, Doylestown Borough - Joseph Glen Ohrt, M/56, of Buckingham Township and former CB West Choir Director, has been arrested for the above charges following an investigation by CBRPD and Bucks County Detectives. These charges are the result of tips submitted to CBPRD after Ohrt’s arrest on February 8, 2022. The victim was a six-grade student at Linden Elementary School during the 1991-1992 school year. While he was there, Ohrt was the Choir teacher. Ohrt came to the victim’s homeroom class at the end of the school day, prior to dismissal, and escorted the victim to the music room while holding the victim’s backside with his hand. Ohrt offered to show the victim how to play piano; when victim had trouble reaching the keys, Ohrt had the victim sit on his lap. During this interaction, Ohrt touched the victim's private parts over his clothing and then put his hand down the victim’s pants and underwear and touched the victim’s private parts directly. The victim was eleven years old at the time of this incident. The victim and his mother reported the incident to the principal and guidance counselor shortly after. Ohrt was later moved to CB West High School. When the victim attended CB West, he was not in Ohrt’s class, but Ohrt would acknowledge him and sometimes call him a rat. The second victim was a student at Pine Run Elementary School, Unami Middle School, Lenape Middle School and CB West, where he graduated in 2001. The victim had been in multiple choirs with Ohrt since he was eleven years old. At thirteen years old, the victim was babysitting for Ohrt and his wife at Ohrt’s home on Bishops Gate Lane in Doylestown Township. The victim was in the basement of the residence when Ohrt returned home. While in the basement, Ohrt came up behind the victim, put his arms around him and put his hand down the front of the victim’s pants touching the victim’s private parts. When the victim attempted to pull away, Ohrt hugged and kissed him. Ohrt was arraigned, bail set at 10%, $100,000 and remanded to Bucks County Prison. Bail restrictions include surrender of passport, no contact with victims, and no contact with any persons under the age of 18 without supervision.
Drug Possession, March 10, 2022, Pawnee Road, New Britain Borough – Christopher Alderfer, M/35, New Britain, PA, was charged with the above offense when police were called to assist with a warrant out of Montgomery County. On scene Alderfer was searched and found in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Assault, March 10, 2022, Carousel Circle, New Britain Borough - Robert Bowen, M/69, New Britain, PA, was charged with the above offense after police were called to a domestic disturbance. A verbal argument escalated and Bowen struck the victim in the face. Bowen was taken into custody, arraigned, bail set at 10% of $5,000 with conditions and remanded to Bucks County Prison. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, March 10, 2022, E. Butler Avenue, Chalfont Borough – Scott Hempelmann, M/35, Harleysville, PA, was charged with the above offense after a traffic stop. Hempelmann was found to be driving an unregistered vehicle without a license and during the stop police discovered an active warrant. Hempelmann was sweaty and shaky and admitted to having drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Police took Hempelmann into custody, a search warrant of the vehicle was executed and a Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Public Drunkenness, March 12, 2022, Hohlbain’s Alley, Doylestown Borough – Hunter Laserre, M/22, Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after police were called for a man lying in the street and who appeared to be highly intoxicated. Police located Laserre on the ground yelling for someone to help him up. A Citation was issued.
Public Drunkenness, March 13, 2022, S. Clinton Street, Doylestown Borough – Timothy Allen, M/31, Chalfont, PA, was cited for the above offense after police found him staggering in the middle of the street. Allen presented with slurred speech, bloodshot glassy eyes, and could not keep his balance. Due to his condition EMS was called to transport Allen to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation. A Citation was issued.
Public Drunkenness, March 13, 2022, Harvey Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Michael Martelli, M/29, Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after police observed him needing to be held up by another person. Martelli was seen falling numerous times and needing assistance to get back up. Once police approached him they noticed his glasses were broken and his face was full of abrasions and cuts. EMS was called and Martelli was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation. A Citation was issued.
Disorderly Conduct, March 18, 2022, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Lucas Friel, M/26, Hatfield, PA, was cited for the above offense after police witnessed him urinating in public. A Citation was issued.
Auto Theft/Drug Arrest, March 18, 2022, West Street, Doylestown Borough – Gary Sims, M/24, Bensalem, PA, was charged with the above offense after police were called for a disabled vehicle. Sims informed police that the car did not belong to him and that he did not have a valid license. Police discovered Sims was driving the vehicle without authorization from the owner and was taken into custody. While in custody police found him in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Sims was arraigned, bail set at 10% of $15,000 secured and remanded to Bucks County Prison. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Disorderly Conduct, March 18, 2022, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – A juvenile was cited for the above offense after police observed them urinating in public. A Citation was issued.
Public Drunkenness, March 18, 2022, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Daniel Rauch, M/26, Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after police were called to an establishment for an intoxicated male. Rauch presented with slurred speech, trouble standing on his own, and difficulty following directions. A Citation was issued.
Disorderly Conduct, March 26, 2022, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Ryan McLaughlin, M/21, Chalfont, PA, was cited for the above offense after police witnessed him urinating in public. A Citation was issued.
Ordinance Violation, March 26, 2022, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Evan Roberts, M/24, Drexel Hill, PA, was cited for the above offense after police found him asleep in his vehicle in a parking lot. While speaking with Roberts they could smell an odor of marijuana. Roberts admitted to having it in the vehicle. A Citation was issued.
Ordinance Violation, March 26, 2022, W. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – Nikolas McIntyre, M/19, Chalfont, PA, was cited for the above offense when police approached his vehicle, which was parked in a parking lot. Police immediately smelled a strong odor of marijuana and McIntyre admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle. A Citation was issued.
Public Drunkenness/Disorderly Conduct, March 27, 2022, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Kevin Kelly, M/23, Doylestown, PA, was cited for the above offense after police witnessed him stagger down the street and then begin to urinate in public. When approached by police Kelly ran and ignored commands to stop. When police caught up with him, he presented with slurred speech, bloodshot glassy eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol. Kelly was taken into custody and Citations were issued.
Drug Arrest, March 31, 2022, W. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough – Maria Mendez-Valdez, F/34, Upper Black Eddy, PA, was arrested on the above offense after police responded to a vehicle parked at the entrance to a parking lot with a female asleep inside. When police arrived Mendez-Valdez was agitated that they were called and the officer immediately noticed bloodshot eyes, unsteady gate, slurred speech, and a strong odor of alcohol. She was taken into custody due to the level of intoxication. While in custody, narcotics were located in the vehicle that Mendez-Valdez was driving. A Criminal Complaint was filed.

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle, March 2, 2022, Hamilton Street, Chalfont Borough – Unknown person(s) broke both side view mirrors.
Criminal Mischief to Residence, March 4, 2022, Francis Meyers Road, New Britain Borough – an unknown group of juveniles were observed on home surveillance damaging the garage door to the residence.
Theft, March 5, 2022, Spruce Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole the catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in a lot.
Criminal Mischief to Public Building, March 8, 2022, Wood Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) threw eggs on the playground structures.
Theft, March 16, 2022, Ferris Lane, New Britain Borough – Unknown person(s) stole a license plate off of a vehicle.
Criminal Mischief to Residence, March 20, 2022, Decatur Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) damaged a motion detector light at the rear of the property.
Theft, March 23, 2022, 400 block of N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) removed a drill from a work van parked in the lot.
Theft, March 23, 2022, SEPTA Train Station, Clinton Street, Doylestown Borough – an unknown person(s) stole the catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the lot.
