Congratulations to Captain Robert Milligan and Officer Matthew Peppelman of CBRPD,  Officer Chris Forbes of Buckingham Twp PD, Officer Don Lawson of Doylestown Twp PD, and Officer Mark Snyder of Plumstead Twp PD for becoming Nationally-Certified De-Escalation Instructors this week!

The National De-Escalation Training Center came to CBPRD to conduct the intensive week-long training. This effort is part of a De-Escalation Initiative between Central Bucks Regional, Doylestown Township, Buckingham and Plumstead Police Departments. The dynamic team is now working on incorporating virtual reality scenario-based exercises into the NDTC curriculum. It is anticipated the cohort will begin delivering monthly de-escalation trainings throughout the collaborative departments to all sworn personnel beginning June 2022.
