The Central Bucks Regional Police Department was recently awarded a $46,444.00 grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (Bryne Justice Assistance) for the Department’s Strategic Leadership/Succession Planning Project. The funds will be used to develop a Strategic Leadership Plan and provision of high-quality education/training. This project will ensure leadership continuity of the organization, maintain stability within the agency operations and organizational readiness.
Chief Knott states, “A strategic plan is a critical leadership tool to safeguard the agencies’ growth and continuity by eliminating substantial gaps in institutional memory, knowledge and leadership placement of key personnel. We are grateful to be afforded this opportunity as we anticipate key personnel retirements in the foreseeable future.”
