ARRESTS

Disorderly Conduct Arrests, 12:06 am, December 29, 2019, E. State and Main Streets, Doylestown Borough – Dominic Anthony Devivo, M/21 of Philadelphia, PA and Ryan Scott Kinky, M/21 of Perkasie, PA were charged with the above offense after urinating in public. Citations have been filed.

DUI Arrest, 10:17 pm, December 30, 2019, tens block of N. Clinton Street, Doylestown Borough – Brett Michael Wilson, M/32 of Doylestown, PA, was charged with the above offense following police response to a hit and run traffic accident with a parked vehicle. Wilson’s damaged vehicle was found shortly thereafter at which time Wilson presented with bloodshot glassy eyes and strong odor of alcohol. Wilson admitted to being involved in the accident and was taken for blood draw at Doylestown Hospital. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct, 1:35 am, January 1, 2020, tens block of E. State Street, Doylestown Borough - Russell Joseph Abernethy, M/22 of New Hope, PA, was charged with the above offense for urinating in public. A citation has been filed.

DUI Arrest, 3:18 am, January 1, 2020, W. State and Hamilton Streets, Doylestown Borough – Malcom Peter Kane, M/24 of Glenside, PA, was charged with the above offense after police conducted a traffic stop for failing to stop at a posted stop sign, speeding and proceeding through a steady red signal. Kane presented with a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes and heavily slurred speech. Kane failed field sobriety tests and was taken for blood draw at Doylestown Hospital. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, 2:19 am, January 4, 2020, tens block of E. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – Silas C. Adams, M/33 of Downingtown, PA, was charged with the above offense after police responded to a disturbance. Adams had fled and was found hiding behind a dumpster on the Court House property. Adams presented with bloodshot glassy eyes, slurred speech and odor of alcohol. A citation has been filed.

Ordinance Violation, 4:33 pm, January 4, 2020, 100 block of Lenape Lane, Chalfont Borough – Artyom Kashayev, M/23 of Norristown, PA, was charged with the above offense for soliciting without a permit. A citation has been filed.

Disorderly Conduct Arrests, 2:02 am, January 5, 2020, N. Main Street and Shewell Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Christopher Fraga, M/23 of Collegeville, PA, and Charles R. Valentine, M/21 of Reigelsville, PA, were charged with the above offense following a physical altercation.

Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct Arrest, 3:32 pm, December 29, 2019, 33 S. Main Street (Serendipity Shop) Doylestown Borough – Joshua Michael Groff, M/29, no fixed abode, was charged on the above offenses for throwing a rock and breaking the storefront glass window of Serendipity Shop (E. Oakland side of store) on December 28, 2019. Groff was arraigned, bail set at $5,000 unsecured with conditions.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

CRIMES & INCIDENTS

Criminal Mischief, 1:52 pm, January 1, 2020, Old Dublin Pike, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) knocked down several residential mailboxes along Old Dublin Pike.

Theft from Auto, 9:00 am, January 2, 2020, tens block of Keeley Avenue, New Britain Borough – Unknown person(s) stole merchandise from unlocked truck cargo area sometime between December 31, 2019 and January 2, 2020. Several boxes containing winter boots, socks, gloves and thermal underwear were taken.

Fraud, 12:04 pm, January 2, 2020, tens block of Keeley Avenue, New Britain Borough – Unknown person(s) fraudulently charged victims credit card three times totaling approximately $250.

Criminal Mischief, 1:45 pm, January 5, 2020, tens block of Hamilton Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown juvenile persons were witnessed damaging a residential fence and door.

Theft, 2:22 pm, January 5, 2020, 480 N. Main Street (Acme Markets), Doylestown Borough – Acme staff reported two events by same male suspect stealing beer and concealing under his clothing.
