ARRESTS
DUI and Resisting Arrest, October 3, 2020, 6:52 PM, Langhorne Road, Chalfont Borough – Robert Scott Heidenreich, M/38, of Chalfont, PA, was arrested for the above offense after several reports of erratic driving were reported of vehicle driving with hood up and suspected traffic accidents. Police went to Heidenreich’s residence shortly thereafter where Heidenreich presented with an odor of alcoholic beverage, slurred speech, swaying side to side and unstable standing. Heidenreich was also charged with resisting arrest when he became physically uncooperative with officers. Heidenreich refused legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Theft Arrest, October 14, 2020, 100 block Lilac Lane, Chalfont Borough – Shirley Moore, F/53, of Trevose, PA, was arrested after admitting to numerous thefts from a residence located in the 100 block of Lilac Lane, Chalfont Borough. Moore was employed by the victim as a home health care worker. On October 8, 2020 at approximately 2100 hrs, residential video surveillance shows Moore entering a nightstand from which she removed money from the victim’s wallet. A review of past videos shows Moore taking a jewelry box, pair of binoculars and a handgun on October 5, 2020. Additional items were found to be missing including rosary beads, women’s wallets, perfume, five collectible music boxes, rolls of coins, men’s clothing, food and paper products, and personal hygiene products. The handgun has since been recovered and Moore turned herself in, along with numerous stolen items. Moore was arraigned and released on $100,000 bail unsecured.
Disorderly Conduct Arrest, October 17, 2020, 1:30 PM, 200 block of N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Joan Lisa Bernstein, F/56, of Doylestown Borough, was charged with the above offense for throwing eggs from a second story window onto a vehicle participating in a parade at the traffic light on N. Main Street. A Citation has been filed.
DUI Arrest, October 17, 2020, 3:47 PM, 400 block of N. Broad Street, Doylestown Borough – Thomas Ross Grant, M/50, of Doylestown, PA, was arrested with the above offense following a two vehicle accident. Grant presented with a strong odor of alcoholic beverage, slurred speech, bloodshot glassy eyes and unsteady gait. Field Sobriety test was unsatisfactory and Grant refused PBT and legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
CRIME AND INCIDENTS
Bicycle Theft, October 1, 2020 (approximate date), Bridge Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole a hybrid style Ice-Green color bicycle from resident’s driveway.
Motor Vehicle Theft, October 1, 2020 during overnight hours, W. Court Street, Doylestown Borough – Three unknown suspects removed an air conditioner from an apartment window, entered the residence and stole keys and left through the front door. Suspects stole a 2019 Toyota Rav 4 displaying the name “TomTom” in large letters on both sides of the vehicle. Vehicle contained expensive electronic equipment – both vehicle and equipment valued at approximately $125,000. Suspects fled in vehicle and were later pictured in a video from the Wawa in Horsham. One suspect goes by the name “Reese” and is known in the Warrington area. Vehicle was later recovered in Philadelphia. Suspects still at large. Bicycle Theft, October 7, 2020, 138 W. State Street (Nat’s Pizza), Doylestown Borough – Unknown person stole a white SE “Big Ripper” Mountain Bike outside of the establishment at approximately 7:30 pm.
