Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub visited several locations in the county Tuesday as those who protect and serve our communities hosted National Night Out events.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. These events enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. 

At these events, residents were able to enjoy food and refreshments and take part in fun activities, which included viewing K-9 demonstrations and looking inside some of the vehicles and equipment used by our Bucks County heroes!

Daisey, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office comfort dog, joined District Attorney Weintraub in Doylestown Township's Central Park to meet with residents and first responders. Bucks County Detectives Rick Munger and Tim Campbell gave tours of the county's Mobile Command Vehicle and demonstrations of crime scene processing. 

Bucks County National Night Out Events were held Tuesday by the Bensalem Police, Bristol Township Police, Doylestown Township Police, Falls Township Police, Middletown Township Police and Solebury Township Police.

A fun time was had by all who attended!
