Gregg D. Shore

First Assistant District Attorney

Mr. Shore is second in command of the District Attorney's Office. A native of Newtown, he earned a bachelor's degree in communications and political science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1993 and a law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1996. A prosecutor for 19 years, Mr. Shore has worked for the District Attorney of Bucks County (1996-2000) and Lehigh County (2000-2004), during which time he also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. He spent seven years with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office before serving as Pennsylvania's Deputy Secretary of Labor from 2011-15. Mr. Shore rejoined the Bucks County District Attorney's Office in 2015, where he established a grant-funded Insurance Fraud Unit. In addition to a caseload of major crimes, his responsibilities include oversight of staff; advising the District Attorney on policy, budgetary and staffing matters; and serving as a trial term coordinator. Mr. Shore's community involvements include serving as a member of the Southeast Council's Board of Directors.    


Jennifer M. Schorn

Chief of Trials/Grand Jury

Ms. Schorn is a graduate of the Widener University School of Law and has been with the office since 1999. She currently serves as Chief of Trials and Chief of the Grand Jury Division. Ms. Schorn prosecutes all types of criminal cases including murders and major crimes. In addition to serving as a Trial Coordinator, she also serves as the coordinator for staff training and development.


Chris W. Rees

Chief of Prosecution/Drug Strike Task Force

Mr. Rees is the office’s Chief of Prosecution. He is also the Chief of the Drug Crime Division, where he acts as liaison to the Drug Strike Force Detective unit. He is also assigned to the Forfeiture and Computer Crime Divisions. He joined the District Attorney's Office in 2009. Mr. Rees previously served as an intern at the DA's office while in law school. He is a graduate of the Temple University, Beasley School of Law. Mr. Rees graduated with a Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He lives with his wife and children in Bucks County.


Jill Graziano

Chief of Staff

Ms. Graziano joined the District Attorney's Office in 2013. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School, and attended American University (Washington D.C.) for undergraduate studies in law and society.  Ms. Graziano has previously worked in the litigation department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison in NYC as well as for the District Attorney in New York County as an Assistant DA, where she practiced both in the trial and appellate divisions.  She has also served a law clerk for the late Honorable Edmund V. Ludwig of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  Ms. Graziano is Chief of Staff and currently assigned to the Legal Division.


Stephen B. Harris

Appellate Counsel

Mr. Harris is a graduate of the Harvard Law School and has been with the office since 1968. Mr. Harris argues cases for the District Attorney's Office in the state and federal appellate courts.


Marc J. Furber

Chief of Insurance Fraud, Economic Crimes

Mr. Furber is a graduate of the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and joined the office in 2000 after serving as a legal intern during the summer of 1999. Mr. Furber is Chief of Economic Crimes and Insurance Fraud. He also serves as a Trial Coordinator.


Robert D. James

Chief of Crash Investigation Unit

Mr. James is a graduate of the University of Arizona Honors College where he earned bachelor's degrees in history and political science.  Subsequently, he attended Villanova University Law School.  Mr. James has been with the office since 2002 where he currently serves as the Chief of the Homicide by Vehicle Division. He also serves as Trial Coordinator and assists with staff development. Mr. James is a Gulf War veteran who served almost eight years in the United States Air Force in the capacity of a Security Specialist. Mr. James coordinates the District Attorney's Veterans Treatment Diversion Program, which he designed and implemented, and also serves as they county Animal Cruelty prosecutor.


Monica W. Furber

Deputy District Attorney

Mrs. Furber is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law, and attended the Catholic University of America where she earned a bachelor's degree in political science. Ms. Furber has been with the office since 2005 and currently serves as the Domestic Violence Supervisor of the Special Victims Division, concentrating on domestic violence.  In that capacity, she supervises a team of six consultants who investigate serious domestic violence cases, and research and compile domestic violence reports, which aid in the successful prosecution of domestic violence offenders.  Ms. Furber also serves as the coordinator for the Bucks County Community Accountability Panel (CAP) program, which is a diversionary program for low-level misdemeanors and summaries at the district court level throughout Bucks County.   

Ms. Furber was the Bucks County Bar Association's 2016 recipient for Prosecutor of the Year. Before joining the DA's office, she previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Delaware County, PA, as well as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Frank T. Hazel, the Criminal Administrative Judge in Delaware County, PA.


Thomas C. Gannon

Chief of Forfeitures

Mr. Gannon is a graduate of Temple University, Beasley School of Law. He first joined the office as a legal intern in 2008. In 2009, Mr. Gannon joined the office full-time as an Assistant District Attorney. Mr. Gannon is currently assigned to the Narcotics and Forfeiture Division. He also serves as the Pre-Trial Supervisor responsible for the hiring, training, and coordination of legal interns. In addition, Mr. Gannon is a member of the Bucks County Drug Treatment Court.


A.J. Garabedian

Deputy District Attorney

Mr. Garabedian joined the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney in 2010.  He currently serves as a Deputy District Attorney assigned to the Economic Crimes / Arson Division where he specializes in prosecuting high value thefts, forgery, embezzlement, identity theft and home improvement fraud. Mr. Garabedian serves as Chief of elder abuse prosecutions and is the office’s liaison to the Bucks County Elder Abuse Task Force and the Pennsylvania State Police gaming enforcement office at Parx Casino. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s University and his law degree from the Drexel University School of Law.


Kristi B. Hoover

Chief of Juvenile

Ms. Hoover is a graduate of Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law.  She received her undergraduate degrees from Penn State University.  During her time at Temple Law, she served as an intern with both the Philadelphia and Bucks County District Attorney’s Offices.  Ms. Hoover joined the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office full time in 2012, and was assigned to the Drug Crime Division for several years.  She now serves as the Chief of Juvenile Prosecution as well as the Extradition Liaison for the office.


Chelsey Jackman

Deputy District Attorney

Ms. Jackman is a graduate of Widener University School of Law. She is a Bucks County native and graduated from Council Rock High School and Penn State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Crime, Law and Justice. She began interning for the Bucks County District Attorney’s office in May of 2010. Ms. Jackman is Chief of Human Trafficking and she is assigned to the Special Victims Unit.


Kristin M. McElroy

Chief of Adult Special Victims

Ms. McElroy joined the District Attorney's office in 2012. She attended Seton Hall University where she earned her Bachelors Degree in international relations.  She also holds a Master of Arts degree in international educational development from Columbia University, and is a graduate of Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. She is the 2018 Rosner Award recipient for exceptional public service, professionalism, and integrity.  She has been a member of the Special Victims Division since joining the office, and currently is the Chief of Adult Sex Crimes.  McElroy runs the summer internship program for 1st and 2nd year law students.


Matthew S. Lannetti

Chief of Child Abuse Prosecution

Mr. Lannetti joined the District Attorney's Office in 2012. He is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law. Mr. Lannetti has been a member of the Special Victim’s Unit since he joined the office, and is currently the Chief of Child Abuse Prosecution.  He is also the liaison to Bucks County Children and Youth Services and works closely with the Bucks County Children’s Advocacy Center. 


David A. Keightly

Deputy District Attorney

Mr. Keightly joined the District Attorney's Office in 2012. He is a graduate of the Earle Mack School of Law at Drexel University, and attended Penn State University for undergraduate studies in business management. Mr. Keightly previously served as an intern with the office, conducting preliminary hearings and summary appeals.  He received the 2018 Outstanding Prosecutor Award from the Pennsylvania Narcotic Officers’ Association, honoring his role in prosecuting a multi-million dollar heroin distribution ring from Upper Bucks County.  He is currently assigned to the Narcotics, Gangs, and Forfeiture Division.


Mary Kate Kohler

Deputy District Attorney

Ms. Kohler joined the District Attorney's Office in 2013. She is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law. Ms. Kohler is the assist in the Grand Jury Division. She is currently assigned to the Special Victims Unit where she specializes in the investigation and prosecution of adult sexual assaults, and physical and sexual abuse committed against children. She also handles the investigation and prosecution of physical abuse and neglect of the elderly.


Edward M. Louka

Deputy District Attorney

Mr. Louka joined the District Attorney's Office in 2006. He is a graduate of Widener Law School, and attended Bloomsburg University for undergraduate studies in history and political science.  Mr. Louka worked for the District Attorney’s office from 2006 to 2013 where he served in the Special Victims Unit and the Major Crimes Unit.  He returned to the District Attorney’s Office in 2017.  Mr. Louka has previously worked as a civil insurance defense attorney with the Law firm Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman, & Goggin in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.   Prior to re-joining the District Attorney’s Office in 2017 Mr. Louka was an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office where he worked in the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit.  Mr. Louka is the Director of the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office Auto Theft Awareness, Education, & Prevention Program.


Megan A. Hunsicker

Deputy District Attorney

Ms. Hunsicker is a graduate of the Widener University School of Law and attended Elizabethtown College for undergraduate studies.  She first joined the office as a Certified Legal Intern, which lead to her full-time position as an Assistant District Attorney.  She has since received the 2018 Community Award from BARC Developmental Services and is currently assigned to the Special Victims Division.  Prior to joining the District Attorney's Office, she served as an extern for the Honorable Carolyn T. Carluccio, Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.


Ashley C. Towhey

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Towhey joined the District Attorney's Office in 2013. She attended law school in Charlotte, North Carolina where served as an extern for the Person’s Unit at the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office.  In 2011, Ms. Towhey served as a first year legal intern with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. As a certified legal intern during her second year with the office, Ms. Towhey conducted preliminary hearings, summary appeals and legal research. After graduation, Ms. Towhey joined the office as a full-time Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Special Victims and Major Crimes Units. She received the John A. Wagner Memorial Award in 2015. Ms. Towhey is now a member of the Drug Unit and currently oversees the District Court Diversion Program (DCDP) for individuals charged with drug possessory offenses. Ms. Towhey also assists as a Pretrial Supervisor responsible for hiring, training and coordinating the interns.


Megan K. Stricker

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Stricker joined the office in May 2014. She is a graduate of Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and attended the University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree in urban studies. She was previously assigned to the Special Victims Unit and is currently assigned to Narcotics. Prior to joining the office, Ms. Stricker was a paralegal for an intellectual property firm in Center City and also enjoyed a fellowship with the Mazzoni Center’s Legal Services Department in Philadelphia.


Jovin Jose

Assistant District Attorney

Mr. Jose joined the District Attorney's Office in 2015. He is a graduate of Widener University School of Law, and attended Villanova University for undergraduate studies in political science.  During his time with the office, he has received the First Annual Danny E. Khalouf Memorial Award for Outstanding Performance as well as the Pennsylvania Narcotics Officers' Association Outstanding Prosecutor Award.  Prior to joining the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Jose served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Wallace H. Bateman, Jr. of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.


Edward J. Furman

Assistant District Attorney

Mr. Furman jointed the District Attorney’s Office in 2017. He is a graduate of the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and attended Saint Joseph’s University for his undergraduate degree in Political Science. Mr. Furman previously served as an intern with the office in addition to interning with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Furman served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Dominic F. Pileggi of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. He is currently assigned to the Narcotics, Gangs, and Forfeiture Division.


Brittney M. Kern

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Kern joined the District Attorney's Office in 2018.  She is a graduate of the Michigan State College of Law, and attended Penn State University for undergraduate studies in English.  Prior joining the District Attorney's Office, Ms. Kern served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James M. McMaster.  She has additional legal experience working as an in-house attorney at an insurance company in New Jersey.  Ms. Kern is currently assigned to the Special Victims division. 


Sarah K. Heimbach

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Heimbach joined the District Attorney's Office in 2018.  She is a graduate of the University of Utah, and attended the University of Vermont where she earned a Bachelor of Science in wildlife biology. Prior joining the District Attorney's Office, Ms. Heimbach served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ronald E. Vican in Monroe County.  She has additional legal experience working as an Assistant Public Defender and a Assistant District Attorney for Lehigh County.


Eugene Tsvilik

Assistant District Attorney

Mr. Tsvilik joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2018.  He is a graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and attended Temple University for his undergraduate degree in History.  Prior to joining the office, he served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rea B. Boylan of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.


Derek Keightly

Assistant District Attorney

Mr. Keightly joined the District Attorney’s Office full-time in 2018. He is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law, and he attended Penn State University for undergraduate studies in Criminology. Mr. Keightly previously served as an intern with the office, conducting preliminary hearings and summary appeals. He is currently the Chief of Private Criminal Complaints, and he assists with the office’s Auto Theft Awareness, Education, & Prevention Program.

Christine M. Sassane

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Sassane joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2018.  She is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law and attended Tulane University for her undergraduate and masters’ degrees in psychology.  She first joined the office in 2015 as a Certified Legal Intern, conducting preliminary hearings. Prior to joining the office full-time, Ms. Sassane served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert W. Bingham, II of the Mercer County Superior Court Criminal Division.


Carrie E. Worton

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Worton joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2018.  She is a graduate of Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School and Mansfield University, where she earned a degree in Political Science.  Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Worton was an associate at a general practice law firm in Williamsport.  She also worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jennifer Harlacher Sibum of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas.  Most recently, Ms. Worton spent four years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office. 


Jose A. Perez

Assistant District Attorney

Mr. Perez joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019. He is a graduate of the Penn State Dickinson School of Law and attended the University of Puerto Rico for undergraduate studies. During law school, Mr. Perez interned at the Penn State Children’s Advocacy Clinic in Cumberland County, representing children in the Dependency court system. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Perez served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Robert O. Baldi of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.


Kelly L. Reilly

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Reilly joined the District Attorney’s Office full-time in 2019. She is a graduate of the Kline School of Law at Drexel University and attended Philadelphia University for undergraduate studying law and society with a minor in business. During law school, Ms. Reilly served as an intern in this office both her 1L and 2L summers, as well as served at the Senior Law Center pro bono, and as a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable Lynne Sitarski, a Magisterial District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.


Lyndsey K. MacNair

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. MacNair is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law and worked for the District Attorney's Office from 2004 through 2008. She specialized in cases involving sexual assault and child abuse, and served as Chief of the Special Victims Division. Ms. MacNair spent two years in the pharmaceutical industry, and then rejoined the office in 2010 on a part time basis. She presently serves as the coordinator for the Bucks County Drug Court.

Chad R. Kovack

Assistant District Attorney

Mr. Kovack joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019. He is a graduate of Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and attended Bloomsburg University for his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice.  Mr. Kovack previously served as a certified legal intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.  Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Kovack served as a judicial fellow to the Honorable Vincent L. Johnson of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas and as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable George W. Overton of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.  


Heather Hines

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Hines joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019 as Chief of Drug/Asset Forfeitures.  She is a graduate of Widener University School of Law, during which time she interned for the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and for Delaware County Common Pleas Judge, Kathrynann W. Durham.  Prior to becoming a Bucks County prosecutor, Ms. Hines ran the Bucks County branch of the Senior Law Center, where she provided legal assistance to elderly crime victims.  Ms. Hines worked for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office from 2009-2018, where she was assigned to the Pretrial, Narcotics and Pottstown Community Prosecution Units.  She received the Citizens Crime Commission’s “Multi-Agency Unit” award in 2016 for the multi-county “Operation War Ready” investigation into violent crime in Pottstown.


Timothy W. Lutes

Assistant District Attorney

Mr. Lutes joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019.  He is a graduate of Widener University School of Law and Temple University, where he earned degrees in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media, as well as Philosophy.  Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Lutes served as the judicial law clerk to President Judge Kevin F. Kelly of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. 


Eric Alkon

Assistant District Attorney

Mr. Alkon joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019.  He is a graduate of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.  He received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Villanova University.  Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, he was an associate at an insurance defense law firm in Norristown.  He also previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Anthony S. Beltrami of the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas.  Mr. Alkon is assigned to the office’s appellate unit.


Julia Wilkins

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Wilkins joined the office full time in 2020. She is a graduate of the Temple University Beasley School of Law and attended Temple University for her undergraduate studies in Strategic Communication, with double minors in Political Science and Criminal Justice. During her 2L summer and 3L academic year Ms. Wilkins served as an intern in this office, and during her 1L summer as a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable Nitza I. Quiñones Alejandro, a District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. 


David O’Beirne

Assistant District Attorney

Mr. O’Beirne joined the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney in 2020.  He is a Bucks County native and a graduate of Charleston School of Law.  During law school, he served as an intern at the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Mr. O’Beirne also holds a Master of Business Administration from Mount St. Mary’s University, and attended Lehigh University for his undergraduate degree in Business.  


Catherine Pirolli

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Pirolli joined the office in 2020. She is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law and attended Villanova University, where she studied criminal justice.  Ms. Pirolli had previously worked in the office as a certified legal intern in 2014-2015.  Prior to joining the office, Ms. Pirolli worked as an Assistant District Attorney in both the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office and the Pike County District Attorney’s Office.  


Meghera Bunch

Assistant District Attorney

Ms. Bunch joined the District Attorney's Office in 2020. As a graduate from Temple University Beasley School of Law, she was selected as a member of the Rubin Public Interest Honors Society. Ms. Bunch attended La Salle University's Honors Program for her undergraduate studies, graduating maxima cum laude with a double major in philosophy and criminal justice. At La Salle, Ms. Bunch was awarded the James A. Finnegan Memorial Award for demonstrating promise of applying social justice ideals in a governmental, political, or legal career. Ms. Bunch previously interned with the Bucks County Juvenile Probation Office, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office (during undergraduate and law school studies), and the Temple Legal Aid Office. During her third year of law school, she worked as a law clerk for a personal injury defense firm in Philadelphia. Immediately prior to joining the office, Ms. Bunch served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Brian T. McGuffin in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.


Colin Jenei

Assistant District Attorney - part time

Mr. Jenei joined the District Attorney’s Office in 1984 and left in 2000 to go into private practice. He returned to the District Attorney’s Office in the winter of 2020 to work on cases with serious mental health issues and on crash cases. He is a graduate of The Dickinson School of Law and Dickinson College, where he earned a degree in Economics.  Mr. Jenei grew up in Bucks County and was employed as an aide of the Pennsbury High School English department, assistant debate coach, and substitute teacher before going to law school.
