First Assistant District Attorney
Mr. Louka is a graduate of Widener Law School and attended Bloomsburg University for undergraduate studies in history and political science. He joined the District Attorney's Office in 2006. Mr. Louka worked for the District Attorney’s office from 2006 to 2013 where he served in the Special Victims Unit and the Major Crimes Unit. He returned to the District Attorney’s Office in 2017. Mr. Louka has previously worked as a civil insurance defense attorney with the Law firm Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman, and Goggin in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to re-joining the District Attorney’s Office in 2017 Mr. Louka was an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office where he worked in the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit. Throughout his career Mr. Louka has prosecuted a wide array of crimes ranging from Rape, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Robbery, Drug Delivery Resulting In Death and Capital Murder. Mr. Louka served the District Attorney’s Office as the Chief of the Special Investigations/Major Crimes Unit until becoming the First Assistant District Attorney in January of 2024.
Chief Deputy District Attorney - Chief of Prosecution
Mr. Rees is the office’s Chief of Prosecution. He is also a member of the Drugs and Firearms Crimes and Computer Crime Divisions. He joined the District Attorney's Office in 2009. Mr. Rees previously served as an intern at the DA's office while in law school. He is a graduate of the Temple University, Beasley School of Law. Mr. Rees graduated with a Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He lives with his wife and children in Bucks County.
Chief Deputy District Attorney - Chief of Insurance Fraud, Economic Crimes
Mr. Furber received his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College in 1997. He is a graduate of the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and joined the office in 2000 after serving as a legal intern during the summer of 1999. Mr. Furber is Chief of Economic Crimes and Insurance Fraud. He also serves as a member of the District Attorney’s Office Management Team. Additionally, Mr. Furber represents the District Attorney’s Office at regular Norristown State Hospital review meetings. He received the 2024 Fraud Fighter Award for Prosecutor of the Year from the Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority and the International Association of Special Investigative Units.
Deputy District Attorney - Chief of Domestic Violence
Mrs. Furber is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law, and attended the Catholic University of America where she earned a bachelor's degree in political science. Mrs. Furber has been with the office since 2005 and currently serves as the Chief of Domestic Violence/ Domestic Violence Investigations, concentrating on domestic violence cases. In that capacity, she supervises a team of four consultants who investigate serious domestic violence cases, and research and compile domestic violence reports, which aid in the successful prosecution of domestic violence offenders. Mrs. Furber also serves as the trial coordinator for the criminal caseload before the Honorable Stephen A. Corr and she supervises four (4) assistant district attorneys that are assigned to that courtroom.
Mrs. Furber was the 2024 Rosner Award recipient for Exceptional Public Service, Professionalism and Integrity. Mrs. Furber was the Bucks County Bar Association's 2016 recipient for Prosecutor of the Year. Before joining the DA's office, she previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Delaware County, PA, as well as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Frank T. Hazel, the Criminal Administrative Judge in Delaware County, PA.
Deputy District Attorney - Chief of Drugs and Firearms Crimes Unit
Mr. Gannon is a graduate of Temple University, Beasley School of Law. He first joined the office as a legal intern in 2008. In 2009, Mr. Gannon joined the office full-time as an Assistant District Attorney. Mr. Gannon is currently assigned to the Narcotics and Forfeiture Division. He also serves as the Pre-Trial Supervisor responsible for the hiring, training, and coordination of legal interns. In addition, Mr. Gannon is a member of the Bucks County Drug Treatment Court.
Deputy District Attorney - Chief of Elder Abuse
Mr. Garabedian joined the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney in 2010. He currently serves as a Deputy District Attorney assigned to the Economic Crimes / Arson Division where he specializes in prosecuting high value thefts, forgery, embezzlement, identity theft and home improvement fraud. Mr. Garabedian serves as Chief of elder abuse prosecutions and is the office’s liaison to the Bucks County Elder Abuse Task Force and the Pennsylvania State Police gaming enforcement office at Parx Casino. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s University and his law degree from the Drexel University School of Law.
Chief Deputy District Attorney - Chief of Adult Special Victims
Ms. McElroy joined the District Attorney's office in 2012. She currently serves as the Chief of the Special Victims Unit, as well as being a member of the Bucks County Human Trafficking Task Force. She is the 2018 Rosner Award recipient for exceptional public service, professionalism, and integrity, and in 2025, received the Women Helping Women Award from the Soroptimist. McElroy supervises the summer internship program for first and second year law students. She attended Seton Hall University where she earned her Bachelors Degree in International Relations. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in International Educational Development from Columbia University, and is a graduate of Temple University James E Beasley School of Law. McElroy is a Bucks County native.
Deputy District Attorney - Chief of Physical and Sexual Elder Abuse - Chief of Grand Jury
Ms. Hunsicker is a graduate of the Widener University School of Law and attended Elizabethtown College for undergraduate studies. She first joined the office as a Certified Legal Intern in 2012. She has since received the 2018 Community Award from BARC Developmental Services, the 2019 Danny E. Khalouf Memorial Award and the 2024 Investigator of the Year Award from the International Association of Special Investigations Units, Delaware Valley Chapter. She is currently the Chief of Physical and Sexual Elder Abuse. Prior to joining the District Attorney's Office, she served as an extern for the Honorable Carolyn T. Carluccio, Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.
Chief Deputy District Attorney - Chief of Special Investigations/Major Crimes Unit
Mr. Jose joined the District Attorney's Office in 2015. He is a graduate of Widener University School of Law, and attended Villanova University for undergraduate studies in political science. During his time with the office, he has received the First Annual Danny E. Khalouf Memorial Award for Outstanding Performance as well as the Pennsylvania Narcotics Officers' Association Outstanding Prosecutor Award. Prior to joining the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Jose served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Wallace H. Bateman, Jr. of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.
Deputy District Attorney - Chief of Appeals
Mr. Fegley joined the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office in January 2022, serving as the Office’s Chief of Appeals. He was in private practice for the past four years and previously served as the First Assistant District Attorney for the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office for four years from 2014 to 2017 where he oversaw all appeals and Post Conviction Relief Act petitions. He has also worked in the District Attorney’s Offices in Berks County and Philadelphia. Mr. Fegley earned his law degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Albright College.
Deputy District Attorney
Mr. Furman joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2017. He is a graduate of the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and attended Saint Joseph’s University for his undergraduate degree in Political Science. Mr. Furman previously served as an intern with the office in addition to interning with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Furman served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Dominic F. Pileggi of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. He is currently the director of the Bucks County Auto Theft Task Force, runs the Youthful Offender Program and is assigned to the Narcotics, Gangs, and Forfeiture Division.
Deputy District Attorney
Mr. Tsvilik joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2018. He is a graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and attended Temple University for his undergraduate degree in History. Prior to joining the office, he served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rea B. Boylan of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.
Deputy District Attorney - Chief of the Homicide by Vehicle/Crash Investigation Unit
Ms. Sassane joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2018. She has been a member of the Crash Investigation Unit since joining the office, and currently is the Chief of the Homicide by Vehicle/Crash Investigation Unit. Ms. Sasane is also the Chief of Diversionary Courts where she oversees the Recovery Court and Wellness/Mental Health Court Programs. In addition to supervising the Adult Treatment Courts, she also oversees the Youthful Offender Program (YOP), a diversion program for first time felony offenders between the ages of 18 to 25, and the District Court Diversion Program (DCDP) for individuals charged with drug possessory offenses. Ms. Sassane was also previously a member of the Auto Theft Task Force and is cross sworn as a Special Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County. Ms. Sassane is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law and attended Tulane University for her undergraduate and master’s degrees in psychology. She first joined the office in 2015 as a Certified Legal Intern, conducting preliminary hearings. Prior to joining the office full-time, Ms. Sassane served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert W. Bingham, II of the Mercer County Superior Court Criminal Division.
Deputy District Attorney
Ms. Worton joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2018. She is a graduate of Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School and Mansfield University, where she earned a degree in Political Science. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Worton was an associate at a general practice law firm in Williamsport. She also worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jennifer Harlacher Sibum of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas. Most recently, Ms. Worton spent four years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office. In addition to serving as the Chief of Asset Forfeitures and the Chief of the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition program, Ms. Worton is also a member of the Economic Crimes/Insurance Fraud/Arson Unit, handles animal cruelty cases and is the office's liaison to the state game commission.
Deputy District Attorney
Mr. Kovack joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019. Mr. Kovack is currently assigned to the Drug and Firearms Crimes Division. In addition, Mr. Kovack is a member of the Bucks-Montco Auto Theft Task Force. He is a graduate of Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and attended Bloomsburg University for his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Kovack previously served as a certified legal intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Kovack served as a judicial fellow to the Honorable Vincent L. Johnson of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas and as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable George W. Overton of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.
Deputy District Attorney
Mr. Lutes joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019. He is a graduate of Widener University School of Law and Temple University, where he earned degrees in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media, as well as Philosophy. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Lutes served as the judicial law clerk to President Judge Kevin F. Kelly of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.
Deputy District Attorney
Mr. Alkon joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2019. He is a graduate of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Villanova University. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, he was an associate at an insurance defense law firm in Norristown. He also previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Anthony S. Beltrami of the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Alkon is assigned to the office’s appellate unit.
Deputy District Attorney
Mr. O’Beirne joined the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney in 2020. He is a Bucks County native and a graduate of Charleston School of Law. During law school, he served as an intern at the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Mr. O’Beirne also holds a Master of Business Administration from Mount St. Mary’s University, and attended Lehigh University for his undergraduate degree in Business.
Assistant District Attorney
Ms. Baland, a Bucks County native, joined the District Attorney’s Office in February 2022. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Temple University. Ms. Baland graduated from Syracuse University College of Law where she earned a dual Master’s from the School of Education. She has worked in both private practice and public interest, most recently in assisting people from the counties surrounding Philadelphia clear their criminal records. She is a member of the Homicide By Vehicle/Crash Investigations Unit.

Ms. Salvo joined the District Attorney's Office in August 2022. She received her law degree from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law. Prior to law school, she graduated from Lehigh University with High Honors. At Lehigh, she earned a bachelor’s degree in both Political Science and Philosophy while also being named a CRCA scholar-athlete as a part of her school’s Division I Women’s Rowing Team. At Drexel, Ms. Salvo was a member of the Moot Court Board. She received awards for oral advocacy and trial advocacy. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Salvo served as an intern for Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania in the Domestic Violence and Child Dependency Offices. Ms. Salvo interned with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office during the Spring of 2022. She is currently assigned to the Special Victims Unit and assists in screening for and running the Youthful Offender Program.

Ms. McInerney joined the District Attorney's Office in July 2023. She received her law degree from Delaware Law and earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice from Temple University. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. McInerney served as an intern for the Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and for the Gloucester County prosecutor’s office in New Jersey. Ms. McInerney most recently was the law clerk for the Honorable Raymond F. McHugh of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. She grew up in Bucks County and remains a long-time resident.

Ms. Skibjak joined the District Attorney's Office in July 2023, after interning at the office in the summer and fall of 2022. She received her law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from West Chester University. During law school, she was a member of the first-generation law student association and the first and only member of her family to go to law school. Prior to going to law school, she worked as a paralegal at a Conshohocken law firm for two years. She is a member of the Homicide By Vehicle/Crash Investigations Unit.

Mr. Bukowski joined the District Attorney’s Office in August 2023, after interning at the office in the spring of 2023. He received his law degree from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law and earned his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Pittsburgh. During law school, Mr. Bukowski worked as an intern with the Montgomery County (NY) District Attorney’s Office, as well as a summer clerk for the Honorable Charles Ehrlich in Philadelphia. Prior to law school, Mr. Bukowski worked as a teacher in Bucks County. He also volunteers as a Mock Trial coach. Mr. Bukowski is a member of the Homicide By Vehicle/Crash Investigations Unit. In addition, he is the coordinator for the Community Accountability Program.

Ms. Ryan joined the District Attorney's Office in August of 2023. She received her law degree from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law and earned a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from Temple University. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Ryan served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Barbara McDermott of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.

Mr. McCartney joined the District Attorney's Office in August 2023. He received his law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School and earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Temple University. During his time in law school, he was an editor for the American Bar Association’s Student Lawyer Magazine. Mr. McCartney also worked as a certified legal intern in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, as well as the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office.

Ms. Simonelli joined the District Attorney's Office in December 2023. She received her law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Psychology from Cabrini College. At Widener, Ms. Simonelli was a member of the Civil Law Clinic. For two years prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Simonelli served as a law clerk for Louis R. Busico.
Assistant District Attorney
Ms. Murphy was hired as an Assistant District Attorney with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office in February 2024. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Notre Dame and her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law. After graduating, she worked for the McKean County District Attorney’s Office from 2019 to 2021 and then for the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office from 2021 to 2024 where she was the head of the Domestic Violence Unit.

Mr. Duminiak joined the District Attorney’s Office in February 2024 and currently serves in the Homicide By Vehicle/Crash Investigations Unit. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Pennsylvania State University, and earned both his law degree and his master of laws degree in trial advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Mr. Duminiak worked in private practice for nearly 18 years. Prior to joining the Office, he served in the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office including as Deputy District Attorney and Chief Prosecutor of the White Collar Crime Unit.
Assistant District Attorney
Ms. Frost joined the District Attorney’s Office in June 2024. She received her law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School, earned a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice from Pennsylvania State University, and a master’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from La Salle University. While attending Widener, Ms. Frost received a certificate of achievement in interviewing and counseling and was the 2023 William J. Conner Memorial Scholarship recipient for high scholastic standing in the field of administrative law. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Frost was a judicial administrative assistant for nine years.
Assistant District Attorney
Mr. Tuosto joined the District Attorney’s Office in July 2024. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Quinnipiac University and earned his Law Degree from Emory University School of Law. Mr. Tuosto was a United States Naval Officer in the JAG Corps for over five years. He worked as a criminal defense attorney while stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, from 2019 to 2022, and he was an appellate attorney while stationed in Washington, D.C., from 2022 to 2024.
Assistant District Attorney
Mr. Carlin joined the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office in August 2024. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University, where he also gained practical experience working with the Philadelphia Eagles’ equipment department for three seasons. Mr. Carlin furthered his legal education at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University, obtaining his Juris Doctor. During his time at Duquesne, he was an active member of the Criminal Law Society and the International and Immigration Law Society, reflecting his commitment to diverse legal issues. Before his current role, Mr. Carlin interned for two summers at the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, where he honed his skills in criminal prosecution.
Assistant District Attorney
Mr. Lawall joined the District Attorney’s Office in August 2024. He received his law degree from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law, with a Concentration in Litigation & Dispute Resolution. While at Villanova, he served on the Editorial Board of the Villanova Environmental Law Journal and as Secretary of the Criminal Law Society. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English from the Pennsylvania State University. During law school, Mr. Lawall interned with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Fall 2023. Mr. Lawall is a Bucks County native and previously worked with the District Attorney’s Office as a Summer Intern in 2022, and again as a Certified Legal Intern in Spring 2024. He is a member of the Homicide By Vehicle/Crash Investigations Unit.
Assistant District Attorney
Mr. Heffernan joined the District Attorney's Office in November 2024. He received his law degree from Ave Maria School of Law and his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Temple University. During law school, Mr. Heffernan interned with a civil litigation firm in Fort Myers, Florida. Mr. Heffernan is a Bucks County native and moved back to the county with his young family after graduating law school.

Mr. Gbassagee joined the District Attorney’s Office in November 2024. He received his law degree from Regent University School of Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Delaware State University. While at Regent he became a founding member of the Intellectual Property Society and served as a Senator of the Student Bar Association.

Ms. Cohen joined the District Attorney’s Office in August 2025. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she graduated with Outstanding Pro Bono Honors and received the Distinguished Pro Bono Award. While at Kline School of Law, Ms. Cohen was selected as a Marshall Brennan Fellow, teaching Constitutional Law to high school students in Philadelphia. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Bucknell University. In 2023, Ms. Cohen worked at the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office as a Summer intern and again as a Certified Legal Intern in Summer 2024. She subsequently worked in the Bucks District Attorney’s Office as a Certified Legal Intern in Spring 2025.
Assistant District Attorney - Part Time
Mr. Crane became a part-time Assistant District Attorney with this office in December 2022. Previously, Mr. Crane worked at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, followed by a long and successful career as a civil attorney.
Assistant District Attorney - Part Time
Mrs. Pintard joined the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office in January 2023, after working many years as a civil attorney. Prior to joining this office, she worked 16 years as an attorney with the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office in Arizona and then 12 years as a prosecutor with the Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General. Most recently, she worked with A Woman’s Place as a senior staff attorney.
