The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Middletown Township Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday evening in the township’s Levittown section. 

Middletown Township Police were dispatched at 7 p.m. Tuesday to a home in the 100 block of Upper Orchard Drive for a report of a deceased male. The call to emergency dispatchers came from the victim’s wife. 

When officers arrived, they located the male deceased in the bathroom. 

The victim’s adult son was not present when police arrived and left the area in his father’s vehicle. He was located and taken into custody hours later. 

There is no threat to the public. 

This is an active and ongoing investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
