The police investigation of a fire that damaged a classroom earlier this year at Cold Spring Elementary School has concluded.
Detectives from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office along with the Buckingham Township Police Department conducted a review of the Feb. 13 incident over several months, and the matter is now closed. No criminal charges will be filed.
“After a thorough investigation of this isolated incident, this matter is now closed,” said District Attorney Matthew D. Weintraub. “School should be a safe place for our children to be every day. All of the occupants of Cold Spring Elementary School and its surrounding communities are safe.”
DA Weintraub thanks the Central Bucks School District for its cooperation and the families of Cold Spring students for their patience and concern in this matter.
