This Saturday, the Bensalem Business Directory will be hosting the Bill Wasylenko Jr. Memorial Car Show at Bensalem High School, 4319 Hulmeville Road.

The car show will be on Saturday, Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Awards will be given to classic, modern, modified and import cars, motorcycles and trucks. The first 100 entries will receive Dash Plaques, and trophies will be awarded to the Top 25 participants.

Pondeli Hajioannou, the president and founder of the Bensalem Business Directory, said this year's car show is not just about the vehicles, but it is the opportunity to help a valuable member of the community, a Vietnam veteran, who recently lost his son. All proceeds will benefit Bill Wasylenko Sr. of Mustang Stables in Bensalem, he said.
