At 1:22pm, police investigated a hit &run traffic accident in the parking lot of the Giant Food Store, in the Cross Keys Place Shopping Center. Officers obtained video surveillance from the parking lot and are investigating further for the striking vehicle.
At 1:43pm, police investigated a check the well being complaint on Windy Meadow Court after a local schoolteacher requested a wellness check on a seven-year-old student after he displayed disorderly behavior during a zoom video chat. Officers investigated and found the child to be in the presence of his parents and discussed his actions with the child and his parents.
At 2:08pm, police investigated a domestic incident on Roseberry Dr. During the investigated officers confirmed an active warrant for Timothy Whittaker, 54, of Doylestown. He was taken into custody without incident and released to official from Montgomery County.
At 6:05pm, police investigated a suspicious person who was knocking on doors on Grandview Lane. Investigation revealed a Verizon employee who had a valid permit to solicit in the Township and was selling a Verizon product.
At 7:52pm, police investigated a one vehicle traffic accident with injuries on Durham Road in the area of Landisville Road. Further investigated revealed the accident occurred in Buckingham Township. Plumstead officers assisted until Buckingham PD arrived.
At 10:47pm, police investigated a domestic dispute involving an intoxicated male in the 5000 block of Easton Road. Officers investigated and were able mediate the situation until all parties were calmed. No further action taken.
February 13, 2021
At 237am, an officer was conducting a traffic detail in the 6100 block of Easton Road when he observed a vehicle travel past him at a high rate of speed. The officer was unable to intercept the vehicle and lost site of the vehicle as it continued northbound on Easton Road towards Bedminster Township.
At 10:47am, police investigated a theft by deception by known person on Stump Road. Investigation revealed the actor made several fraudulent transactions in excess of $1100.00 between the dates of November (2020) and February.
At 10:54am, police conducted a traffic stop on Swamp Rd after an inspection violation was observed. Investigation revealed the operator had a suspended license. Police issued the appropriate citations for the violations observed.
At 12:55pm, police investigated an unwanted person at a residence on Groveland Rd. Investigation revealed a civil issue between known individuals. Police stayed on scene until the situation was resolved.

At 2:45pm, police investigated a verbal domestic incident involving a male and female on Groveland Rd. Officers provided literature regarding Domestic Violence and stayed at the residence until the situation was resolved.

At 12:20pm at Plumstead Township resident contacted police to report an unemployment fraud. The resident received a letter regarding compensation that was never requested nor received. A report was filed, and the complaint was advised to contact the unemployment office.
At 12:57pm, police investigated a disturbance between two customers at the Giant Food Store in the Cross Keys Place Shopping Center after one customer confronted another customer about not wearing a COVID-19 mask the proper way. Officers were able to deescalate the incident and both customers went about their way.
February 15, 2021
At 10:31am, police investigated a suspicious person in the driveway of a residence on Point Pleasant Pike. When officers arrived on scene, they confirmed the male’s identity and confirmed he was allowed on the property.
At 1:12pm, police responded to Cephas Child Rd for two missing juveniles. Prior to the officers arrival, the two juveniles returned home.
At 5:37pm, police responded to Township Line Road after a passing motorist reporting seeing a firearm lying in a pile of snow. The officers took custody of the firearm and eventually identified who the firearm belonged to.
February 16, 2021
At 7:53am, police responded to a residence on Ferry Rd, after the property owner located criminal mischief done to his vehicle and residence. Officers were able to identify the actor and will be sending charges via summons.
At 2:35pm, police responded to the BB&T bank on N Easton Rd after a customer had a civil dispute with an employee of the bank. Officers stood bye until the dispute between the bank and the customer was resolved.
At 3:05pm, police responded to a residence on Point Pleasant Pike after the resident received a telephone call from the Publisher’s Clearing House informing her, she won $2.5 million. The scammer informed the property owner in order to collect the check, she would have to go to a local pharmacy and purchase certain items valued at $1,000.00. The property owner was familiar with the scam and ignored the request.
At 3:47pm, police spoke with a resident from Autumn Ct after they reported being a victim of a $42.00 fraud via EBAY. The officer is still investigating.

At 1:45pm, police responded to the Point Pleasant Post Office after employees located a suspicious and inappropriate note left on the bulletin board in the lobby. PTPD and the US Postal Inspectors are investigating.
At 10:35pm, police responded to a residence on Durham Rd after a male was heard yelling from the residence. Further investigation revealed a verbal domestic disturbance. Officers stayed on scene until the argument was resolved.

At 9:35am, police responded to Valley Park Rd after a resident reported unauthorized wire transfers from his bank account. The officer is still investigating.
At 1:00pm, a resident came to the PTPD to report an unemployment fraud. The resident received a letter regarding compensation that was never requested nor received. A report was filed, and the complainant was advised to contact the unemployment office.
At 2:45pm, police responded to a residence on High Meadow Court after a resident reported being a victim of identity theft related to insurance fraud. The officer is still investigating.
At 12:29pm, police responded to a residence on Bergstrom Rd after the resident reported a theft of Amazon packages that were located on the front porch at or about 9:00am. If anyone has information related to the theft, please contact Officer Rutecki at trutecki@plumstead.gov or 215-766-8741.
At 4:49pm, police responded to a residence on Louise St. Claire Dr for a check the well being of an adult male who was suffering from a mental health issue. Crisis Intervention trained Officers arrived and deescalated the situation and provided the male with several resources to assist with his crisis.
