The Detective Division is supervised by the Lieutenant and consists of two detectives.  Officers who are selected and assigned to the Detective Division have proven that they are; knowledgeable, self-motivated and detail oriented investigators who can work independently.  The Detectives are sent to numerous types of investigation and evidence schools and are highly trained in their positions. The Detectives are crime scene investigators that oversee complex crime scenes, including but not limited to, homicides, sexual assaults, armed robberies, home invasions and property crimes, such as burglaries.  The detectives also investigate white collar crimes, conduct interviews, examine records, observe the activities of suspects and participate in arrests.   Our Detectives work closely with our patrol officers so that they can act as a team when collaborating on an investigation to ensure that the best investigative results are attained.
