On December 25, 2019 at approximately 0118 hours, officers were dispatched to 630 Spruce Street for a report of a physical domestic incident.  While investigating the incident, the suspect, identified as Juan Hernandez, was extremely intoxicated becoming unruly and hostile towards police.  While attempting to secure the suspect, he became combative and continued to resist arrest.  During the struggle, the suspect bit the officer several times attempting to grab the officer's gun. Once the suspect was secured in handcuffs, he continued to resist arrest.  He is charged with assault of law enforcement officer, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.  He was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Mark Douple and sent to Buck County Prison in lieu of $1,500,000 bail @10%.
