The Bedminster PD recorded 418 incident reports for May 2021. 

May 16, 2021- Intoxicated Person

On May 16, 2021, an intoxicated adult male non-resident was charged with public drunkenness after walking into the wrong residence on Shoemaker Drive at 1:17 am. 

May 16, 2021- Strangulation

On May 16, 2021, a resident of the 3100 block of Bedminster Road was charged with strangulation and other assault offenses following a domestic assault.

May 17, 2021- Fraud

On May 17, 2021, a senior citizen and resident of Bucks Rd. was scammed over the telephone by a male subject claiming to be from Amazon.  The resident obtained 3K worth of gift cards and gave the information to the scammer.

May 19, 2021- Fraud

On May 19, 2021, a resident reported that an unknown person filed fraudulent unemployment claim using his identity.

May 19, 2021- Flight to Avoid Apprehension

On June 3, 2021, a non-resident was charged with flight to avoid apprehension and fleeing and eluding resulting from an incident on May 19, 2021 in the area of Dark Hollow Rd. 

May 21, 2021- Animal Neglect

On May, 21, 2021, Officers assisted the SPCA with serving a search warrant to seize a neglected dog on Yost School Rd.  It became apparent that the elderly owner was suffering from some type of memory loss.  Officers arranged for assistance for the resident by communicating our concerns with her family members.

May 24, 2021- DUI

On May 24, 2021, a non-resident was arrested for DUI on Old Easton Rd resulting from a traffic violation.

May 25, 2021- DUI

On May 25, 2021, a non-resident was arrested for DUI on Dublin Pike after fleeing the scene of a crash in Doylestown

May 31, 2021- Warrant

On May 31, 2021, a non-resident was arrested in the 700 Block of Center School Road on an outstanding warrant during the response to a noise complaint.

June 1, 2021- Fraud

On June 1, 2021, a resident reported that unemployment paperwork was fraudulently filed on his behalf. 

            June 3, 2021- Warrant

On June 3, 2021, a non-resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant for strangulation resulting from a traffic stop on Bedminster Rd.

June 3, 2021- DUI

On June 3, 2021 a non-resident was arrested for DUI on Easton Rd resulting from a traffic violation.
