As our local students head back to school next week, the Bedminster Police would like to remind residents to allow extra time during their commute and to be mindful of students crossing streets and waiting at bus stops. 
Additionally, watch for school buses and follow the rules of the road when they're stopped. Vehicles travelling in both directions must stop when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop-arm extended on two lane and undivided highways.
