The Bedminster Township Police are working with emergency management officials to determine the scope of the damage from a possible tornado that struck the area of Bedminster Road and Bucks Road and also Irish Meetinghouse Road and Elephant Road last night.  Officers are going door to door checking on residents and using a drone to assess damage.  As of this time there are no reported injuries as a result of the incident.  Utility Companies and Penndot are working to cleanup the damage and restore power to the area.  A road closure on Bedminster Road will be in effect until further notice between Elephant Road and Bucks Road.
