New Traffic Pattern at S. 9th Street and W. Market Street

The Perkasie Borough Police Department is advising motorists of a new traffic pattern at the intersection of S. 9th Street and W. Market Street. The intersection is being changed to a 4-way stop with new signs being installed on W. Market Street today, which was previously a two-way stop intersection with stop signs only on S. 9th Street. New traffic patterns are not always observed by persons who regularly travel the route.  Perkasie PD advises motorists to exercise caution when traveling through this intersection. Be aware of the change with the addition of stop signs on W. Market Street. Accidents are more likely during the initial period of change at these types of intersections. Remain aware as you drive for the safety of yourself and others.
