During the COVID-19 Pandemic, many criminals are seeking ways to prey on the innocent and naïve. Many of them have established fake emails, websites, charities, and products in an attempt to scam people out of money.
- When viewing your email, don’t click on anything you DON’T know. Watch for CDC emails. The CDC doesn’t send emails so if you get one, it is a scam
- Ignore online offers for vaccinations. The media will let us know when there is a REAL vaccination.
- ALL donations you wish to send should be checked. Look at their website, call them, and send the donation there.
- Be alert to Investment opportunities. False claims about the CARES Act.
- You should NEVER have to send money to get money.
