Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled incidents 167 during the week of September 7th to the 13th, 2025. A total of 20 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Ordinance Violation: Officers were contacted on September 7th, 2025, by a concerned citizen regarding the dumping of garbage at the Catch Basin Park. Police arrived and observed several piles of building supplies piled in the park. West Rockhill Township Public Works cleaned up the garbage.
Fraud Complaint: A business owner in the 1400 block of Bethlehem Pike contacted police on September 8th, 2025, to report that they were defrauded of $5,000. The business owner reported that they received an email from an unknown party explaining that the business owed $5,000 for building permits. The business wired the money and a few weeks later received an email indicating that the prior emails were not legitimate. Police are still investigating.
DUI Crash Investigation: Police responded to the area of County Line Road and Ingrams Way for a report of a one vehicle traffic accident on September 8th, 2025. Police arrived and found a Jeep that had rolled onto its roof on the side of the roadway at Ingram Way. Police located the driver hiding in the wood line along a home on Ingram Way. The driver was transported to St. Lukes Grand View for a blood draw to determine the presence of alcohol or illegal substances. Criminal Charges are pending the results of a blood draw.
Shooting Complaint: On September 10th, 2025, police were contacted by a resident in the 800 block of Ridge Valley Road who was reporting that an unknown party had discharged a firearm on Game Lands near their home. The resident showed officers shotgun pellets that had fallen onto their property. Incident will be investigated by the PA Game Commission.
Fraud: A resident of the 500 block of Callowhill St. contacted police to report that an unknown party had opened a Home Depot credit card in their name. The resident received a bill in the mail in the amount of a little over $1,500. The bill included purchases from a store in the Pittsburgh area, no financial loss was reported at this time.
Burglary: Pennridge Regional Police responded to a residence in the 500 block of Branch Road for a report of a burglary on September 11th, 2025. Upon arrival of officers, it was determined that a dirt bike was removed from the garage at the residence the night before. The actors entered the garage and removed a $15,000 dirt bike. Police believe this incident is related to another reported vehicle theft from Perkasie Borough that occurred the same night.
Attempted Fraud: On September 12th, 2025, Police responded to a home in the 100 block of Farmers Lane for a report of a resident who received an email that indicated they were owed $460. The resident clicked on the link and ultimately ended up on a telephone call where the caller advised they had accidentally wired $50,000 to the resident. The caller wanted the $50,000 wired back and when the resident went to the bank to do so, they were convinced the incident was scam. No financial loss occurred.
ARRESTS INCIDENTS
Theft Arrest: Police filed criminal charges of theft against a 32-year-old female from Easton, PA following two separate calls from employees at St. Lukes Grand View reporting cash to be missing from their purses. After a police investigation the employees reported that nearly $1,000 had been stolen from three separate employees from their purses, workstations and cubbies on a specific floor of the hospital. The employee in question admitted to committing the thefts.
DUI Arrest: A criminal complaint was filed against a 25-year-old male resident of West Rockhill following an investigation into a traffic accident that occurred on August 9th, 2025, in the 500 block of Forrest Road. Police arrived on scene to find a Ford F250 that had struck a tree and rolled over, the male driver was found to exhibit signs of intoxication, and a blood draw was obtained on the night of the traffic crash. The blood results revealed a blood alcohol concentration of nearly three times the legal limit.
DUI Arrest: A 25-year-old resident of East Rockhill Township was involved in a motorcycle crash in the 2300 block of Muskrat Road on August 4th, 2025. Upon arrival of police that morning it was determined that the male rider had lost control of his motorcycle and struck a tree causing serious injuries. Upon investigation, blood test resulted in the presence of illegal narcotics and a blood alcohol concentration of nearly twice the legal limit.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
September 11th, 2025: Officers responded to the area of Mountain View Drive and Park Road for a one vehicle traffic accident involving a Harley Davidson motorcycle that had struck a deer. No injuries were reported.
