Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 192 incidents during the week of August 31st to September 6th, 2025. A total of 36 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same week.
INCIDENTS
Welfare Check: Police were dispatched to the Tohickon Campground on August 31st, 2025, following a camper calling police due to a male no longer answering their calls. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that the male in question was being loud and causing a disturbance due to his level of intoxication. Police found the male intoxicated and sleeping, he was woken and it was determined he was intoxicated and would no longer cause a disturbance.
Theft Investigation: A resident of the 100 block of Hickory Lane reported that a Dewalt nut driver and a bucket of deck screws were removed from their property on August 31st, 2025. The estimated loss is believed to be $250. Police are still investigating.
DUI Investigation: Pennridge Regional Police were dispatched to the area of E. Rockhill Road and Hill Road for a report of an injured bicyclist. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that the cyclist was operating an E-Bike and was exhibiting signs of intoxication. Based on the information provided about the E-Bike the male rider was taken to St. Luke’s Grand View for a medical evaluation and police obtained a blood sample to determine the concentration alcohol in the male’s system. Criminal charges could be filed.
Ordinance Violation: Officers were requested to check on an alleged burning violation in the 200 block of Ridge Valley Road. Upon arrival of police there was no violation found.
DUI Crash Investigation: On September 3rd, 2025, officers responded to the 3100 block of State Road for a one vehicle traffic accident, hit and run. Officers arrived on scene and found Ford Ranger pickup truck off the roadway. There was no one with the truck, but officers were notified of a male walking away from the scene. After a brief investigation the vehicle owner was found at home and was taken into custody, and a blood draw was conducted to determine the level of intoxication. Charges are pending the result of testing.
Criminal Mischief: Pennridge Regional Police responded to a home in the 1100 block of Allentown Road for a report of resident reporting a fence post being cut down by an unknown person. No suspect information or exact timeframe of the damage could be attained.
DUI Crash Investigation: Officers responded to the parking lot of St. Lukes Grand View Hospital ON September 5th, 2025, for a black Chevrolet Impala that was disabled in the parking lot. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that the Chevrolet Impala had struck a curb shortly before arriving at the hospital. The driver had checked themselves into the hospital in hopes of receiving medical treatment for alcohol addiction. Charges are pending the result of blood testing.
Fraud Investigation: Officers were contacted on September 5th, 2025, by a resident of the 000 block of Creekview Drive. The resident reported that $4800 had been charged to a Walmart credit card, with delivery of the items being made to an address in Houston Texas. Fortunately, all lost funds have been returned, and no evidence of further loss has been received.
Theft Report: On September 5th, 2025, officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Bethlehem Pike for a report of several metal grates being stolen. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that the grates were stolen sometime in the last four or five years. Estimated loss was $200.
Theft Investigation: Pennridge Regional Police were contacted by staff at St. Lukes Grand View on September 5th, 2025, regarding a possible theft of money from an employee. Police are currently following up on the incident.
ARRESTS INCIDENTS
Drug Arrest: A 53-year-old woman from Silverdale was charged with drug possession and other related drug charges following the results of laboratory testing of a substance found on her person while at St. Lukes Grand View on June 21st, 2025.
DUI Arrest: A criminal complaint was filed against a 46-year-old male from Quakertown following a traffic stop on July 31st, 2025, on Bethlehem Pike at Green Top Road. A Pennridge Regional officer performed a vehicle stop on a Chevrolet Equinox that was speeding. Upon investigation the operator was found to be exhibiting signs of intoxication and field sobriety tests were administered to the suspect, in which they failed. Laboratory testing was conducted on the blood that was drawn the night of the stop, and it returned with a concentration of alcohol and marijuana metabolites. Charges included driving under the influence and drug possession.
Warrant Service: Police responded to a home in the 100 block of Forrest Road on September 5th, for a report of littering and drug activity. Upon arrival a 45-year-old resident of the home was taken into custody on a warrant out of Bucks County Adult Probation. The prisoner was transported to Bucks County Prison.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
August 31st, 2025: Officers responded to the area of Ridge Road and the intersection of Ridge Valley Road for a one vehicle traffic accident involving a Hyundai Santa Fe. Following a brief police investigation, officers determined that the Hyundai was attempting to pass a tractor on the roadway and as they passed the tractor as it turned left, the driver swerved off the roadway striking a sign and striking a home on Ridge Valley Road causing minor damage.
September 2nd, 2025:
Officers responded to Rt. 313 and Fifth Street for a three-vehicle traffic crash involving a Hyundai Sonata that struck a Ford F350 truck, pushing it into a Ford Escape. The Ford F350 and the Escape were both stopped for a red traffic signal when the Hyundai struck the F350. The operator of the Hyundai received minor injuries and was cited for causing the crash.
A two-vehicle traffic accident was reported at the intersection of Ridge Road and Bethlehem Pike involving a Honda Civic that failed to stop for the traffic light, striking a Chrysler Mini Van. Minor injuries were reported, and the driver of the Honda was cited for running a red traffic signal.
September 3rd, 2025: Officers responded to the 100 block of Ridge Road for a two-vehicle traffic accident involving a Toyota Tacoma and a Chevrolet Equinox. The Equinox stopped at the traffic signal for Ridge Road and Bethlehem Pike, when the Tacoma failed to stop, striking traffic stopped in front of it. Minor injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
September 4th, 2025: A two-vehicle traffic accident was reported at State Road and Old State Road involving a Ford Flex and Dodge Journey. Upon investigation it was determined that the Ford had pulled out from the stop sign on Old State Road and was struck by the Dodge Journey. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene and minor injuries were reported.
