Pennridge Regional Police Officers handled 357 incidents during the weeks of August 10th to August 23rd, 2025. A total of 88 traffic citations and warnings were issued during the same weeks.
INCIDENTS
Unwanted Person: Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Forrest Road for a report of an unwanted male at the residence. Upon arrival of police the male had left, but the homeowner relayed to police that the male was at the home because he wanted to use drugs with another resident. The homeowner would not provide any further information and police left the property.
Fraud Investigation: On August 11th, a resident of the 400 block of Liberty Trail reported they were defrauded of nearly $65 after attempting to purchase a new social security card off of the internet. The resident did not recognize this as a fraud until after making the purchase.
Unwanted Person: Police responded to St. Lukes Grand View Hospital for a report of a patient who was refusing to leave on August 12th, 2025. Upon arrival of police, it was found that a discharged patient was refusing to leave. Police were able to make arrangements for the patient to receive a ride home.
Solicitor Complaint: A resident of the 000 block of Arrowhead Drive reported several solicitors in their neighborhood. Police responded and it was found that the party was not registered to solicit in East Rockhill Township and was sent on their way.
Disorderly Person: St. Lukes Grand View contacted police on August 14th, 2025, to report that a patient was intoxicated in the waiting room and was causing a disturbance. Upon police arrival it was determined that the patient had left earlier in the day and was now returning. After some brief conversation, the patient was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Disturbance: On August 15th, 2025, police were dispatched to Holiday House Pool for a report of a fight between two males. Upon arrival of officers the fight broke up and when police spoke to both parties neither wanted any police involvement.
Disturbance: Police responded to Penn Foundation for a fight involving a patient and staff member. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that a patient as upset over not receiving medication at the time they were supposed to. The patient alleged that they were shoved, and a door was slammed on their arm. There was no physical evidence or injury to support this, and police left the scene.
Fraud: Pennridge Regional Police spoke with a resident of the 600 block of Main Street who reported they fell victim to a scam. The resident reported that they were contacted by someone identifying themselves as an employee of Xfinity and stated they needed to pay $480 for a new cable subscription product. The resident purchased two Target Gift cards in the amount of $240 each and provided the numbers to the caller claiming to be from Xfinity.
ARRESTS INCIDENTS
DUI Arrest: An arrest warrant has been issued for a 43-year-old male resident of Sellersville following a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Bethlehem Pike on July 28th, 2025. The male was operating a motorized bicycle and had crashed. During the course of the investigation the male was found to be exhibiting signs of intoxication. The male was transported to St. Lukes Grand View for a blood draw to determine the level of intoxication in their system. Upon receipt of the blood test several counts of DUI were filed.
Underage Drinking arrests: On August 14th, 2025, Pennridge Regional Police responded to the 100 block of Thousand Acre Road for a report of a large/loud party. Upon arrival of police nearly 50 to 75 people were partying at the home. Upon the completion of the investigation, the homeowner, a 23-year-old male form West Rockhill Township was charged with providing alcoholic beverages to underage parties along with corruption of minors. A total of five party goers were cited for underage drinking and two for public drunkenness.
Theft Arrest: A 68-year-old female resident of Telford and a 58-year-old female resident of Easton were charged with theft following a disturbance at a residence in the 3000 block of Walnut Lane. The resident contacted police after the two females had taken a dog and refused to return it. After a brief investigation it was determined that the dog was taken because the woman believed that the homeowner did not own the dog.
Theft of Services Arrest: A 30-year-old male resident of Lansdale, was charged with theft of services following him failing to pay for a pizza he had ordered from Domino’s Pizza, located in the Glenwood Shopping Center.
Trespassing Arrest: A 54-year-old female resident of Telford and a 60-year-old resident of Quakertown were arrested after they returned to the Homestead Campground after being evicted earlier in the week. Both parties were asked to leave the property and returned after agreeing to leave.
Harassment Arrest: A 41-year-old resident of Silver Spring, MD was issued a non-traffic citation for harassing another resident at Penn Foundation. The male and the resident had a verbal argument in the cafeteria of the facility and during the course of the argument the male suspect made several racial and sexually explicit comments to the victim. The parties were separated at the time.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
August 10th, 2025:
A two-vehicle traffic accident was reported at the intersection of Rt. 313 and Old Bethlehem Road involving a Harley Davidson and a Acura TLX. The Acura was pulling out from Old Bethlehem Road when it struck the Harley. No injuries were reported.
Officers responded to Rich Hill Road and Rt. 309 for a one vehicle traffic accident involving a Ford Focus that had run off the roadway and struck the embankment on Rich Hill Road. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
August 11th, 2025:
Police responded to the intersection of Rt. 309 and Lawn Ave. for a two-vehicle traffic accident involving a Ford F250 and a Honda Accord that collided after the driver of the Ford F250 foot slid off the pedal.
Pennridge Regional Police Department responded to the area of State Road, and Rt. 309 for a three-vehicle traffic accident involving a Ford Focus, a Honda Pilot and a flat bed tractor trailer. The tractor trailer failed to negotiate the turn, and the trailer struck the Ford Focus pushing it into the Honda. No injuries were reported.
A Ford F250 pick up truck was traveling on County Line Road in the area of Allentown Road and struck a tree branch in the roadway, causing damage to the vehicle.
August 12th, 2025:A two-vehicle traffic accident involving an unknown motorcycle and a Honda Accord that was struck as it pulled out of Brookview Drive on Blooming Glen Road. The driver of the Honda suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Lukes GVH for treatment.
August 13th, 2025: A Honda Odyssey and a Toyota Corolla collided in the private parking lot of Crash Champions Collision Center. The Honda backed into the Toyota while it was parked.
August 17th, 2025: Officers responded to Covered Bridge Road for a one vehicle traffic accident involving a Toyota Corolla that ran off the road and struck a utility pole. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
August 18th, 2025: A one vehicle traffic accident was reported on Cathill Road and where a Toyota Solara ran off the roadway when the attempted to miss a deer in the roadway and struck a guiderail, no injuries were reported but the Toyota had to be towed from the scene.
August 19th, 2025:
A one vehicle traffic accident occurred on Ridge Road in the area of Catch Basin Road when a Nissan Rogue hit a horse that was crossing the roadway.
A Chevrolet Cruze ran off the roadway in the 1000 block of Allentown Road and struck a boulder along the roadway, the vehicle had to be towed from the scene, and the driver sustained minor injuries.
A two-vehicle crash occurred on Meetinghouse Road and State Road when a GMC Sierra struck a GMC Terrian that was stopped at the stop sign. Minor damage occurred to both vehicles.
August 20th, 2025
A minor two-vehicle traffic crash occurred at the intersection of Ridge Road and Lawn Ave, when a Mazda Protégé and a Toyota Tacoma collided. Upon investigation the Mazda rearended the trailer the Toyota was towing behind it. No injuries were reported.
A one vehicle traffic accident occurred on Ridge Valley Road and Tower Road, when a Toyota Rav-4 ran off the roadway and hit a utility pole along the side of the roadway. The Toyota had to be towed from the scene.
August 21st, 2025: Officers responded to a one vehicle traffic accident involving an Acura MDX that struck a deer on Rt. 313 and Sterner Mill Road, resulting in the Acura being towed.
August 23rd, 2025: A Chevrolet Silverado struck another Silverado on Ridge Road in the area of Schoolhouse Road causing damage to the side view mirrors of both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
