CRIME BLOTTER MARCH 23rd 2023 to April 5th 2023
March 22nd 2023 at approximately 435 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to 1300 Lawn Ave., in West Rockhill Township for a report of harassment. Upon investigation the incident was found to be a civil issue and both parties were referred to the civil court system.
March 23rd 2023 at approximately 215 pm Pennridge Regional Police investigated a report of harassment to have occurred in the 1400 block of Ridge Valley Road, West Rockhill Township. The reporting party reported he was being followed and harassed by a disgruntled ex-employee.
March 24th 2023 at approximately 930 am Pennridge Regional Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Keystone Drive, West Rockhill Township, for a report of a stolen Ford F250. The truck was taken from a service garage in that area and later recovered in Horsham Township. Horsham Township Police are investigating the incident.
On March 24th 2023 at approximately 728 pm Pennridge Regional Police officers responded to the Catch Basin Road Reservoir, 801 Catch Basin Road, West Rockhill Township for an open fire on the property. The fire was extinguished and the parties involved left the park.
On March 25th 2023 at approximately 830 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to the Fernrock Retreat, 1900 Twin Lows Road, West Rockhill Township, for report of a runaway 11 year old male. Upon investigation by officers on scene the 11 year old was located at a nearby convenience store. The male juvenile was reunited with his guardians.
On March 26th 2023 at approximately 330pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to the 2500 block of Camp Rockhill Road, East Rockhill Township, for a noise disturbance. Upon investigation it was found that the loud noises were gunshots, and all involved parties were following township ordinances.
March 26th at approximately 541 PM Pennridge Regional Police Department responded to Rockhill Car Wash, 1105 Old Bethlehem Pike for a theft of change from a vacuum. Video surveillance shows a male operating a dark colored SUV, believed to be Dodge Durango, force open a vacuum and remove the change. The estimated theft is $150 in change.
March 27th 2023 at approximately 900 am Pennridge Regional Police officers responded to Drum Construction, West Rockhill Township, for a complaint of a neighbor flying a drone over the property with the intention of harassing staff. Upon investigation the pilot of the drone was advised of current harassment statutes as they apply to the flying of drones. No criminal charges were filed.
March 28th 2023 at approximately 430 pm Pennridge Regional Police Department was dispatched to the 700 block of Cathill Road for a report of a motorcycle and vehicle crash. The operator of the motorcycle and operator of the vehicle were both transported to Grand View Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The crash is being investigated in conjunction with the Bucks County District Attorney Office’s crash reconstruction team.
March 29th 2023 at approximately 8 am Pennridge Regional Police Department were made aware of possible threats of school violence at the Pennridge North Middle School, East Rockhill Township. The complaint was swiftly investigation by the School District Police with the assistance of the Pennridge Regional Police. No criminal charges were filed.
March 30th 2023 at approximately 1245 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to the 10 block of Wood Spring Road, West Rockhill Township, for a report of numerous fraudulent accounts opened by an unknown person at a T Mobile store in a resident’s name. The incident is currently under investigation.
March 30th 2023 at approximately 300 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to the Country Place Restaurant, 1000 block of RT. 313, East Rockhill Township, for a report of numerous tools stolen out of a van left on the property. The theft occurred several months before and is still under investigation.
March 30th 2023 at approximately 630 pm Pennridge Regional Police became aware of school threat at the Pennridge High School, 1228 N. 5th St., East Rockhill. The threat was investigated by the Pennridge School District Police, Bedminster, Hilltown and the Pennridge Regional Police and was determined to be unsubstantiated.
April 3rd 2023 at approximately 315pm Pennridge Regional Police officers responded to the intersection of Rt. 313 and Ridge Road, East Rockhill Township, for a report of a vehicle being damaged. The vehicle was damaged following a road rage incident. Incident is still under investigation.
April 3rd 2023 at approximately 415 pm Pennridge Regional Police investigated a complaint of harassment at the RENEW Church, 1600 N. 5th St., East Rockhill Township. Neighbor dispute regarding lighting at the church and times of church services. Party involved has been trespassed from the property.
April 4th 2023 at approximately 450 am Pennridge Regional Police responded to the area of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, 910 Allentown Road, West Rockhill Township, for a report of a male walking around the area looking into vehicles. Officers located a male walking around the area speaking of doing security checks. The male was transported back to his home.
April 4th 2023 at approximately 830 am Pennridge Regional Police responded to Catch Basin Road and Forrest Road, West Rockhill Township, for a report of dumping. Upon investigation the items in the roadway were removed.
April 4th 2023 at approximately 1200 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to the 1000 block of Washington Ave., West Rockhill, for a report of a female trespassing on the property, and feeding a horse. Officers were able to locate the party involved and advised her to not return to the property or to feed the horses on the property.
